Anyone else have issues redeeming coupons like this at stores?
I was wondering about that. Many stores’ coupon policies do not permit self-printed coupons for free products. I was going to read a few stores’ policies before I even tried it (Wal-Mart, Kroger, etc.)
As well worried about wasting printing. This is good bread…and try their buns! Very good.
Yep – I believe many stores have this in their policies now. Can’t be self printed due to scams. I haven’t had luck in CA with these in at least 2 years (at least by me).
Used mine at Stater Bros. today the mgr. put it through.
My local King Soopers in Colorado accepts free printed coupons. I would check and know your stores coupon policy. I always have the policy either printed or on my phone to show any cashier or manager if there is questions. Most stores around me take free printed coupons as long as they scan. They will not manually input a free coupon in my experience.
I used my Dave’s Killer Bread free coupon at Target without a problem.
Thanks so much, I’ve heard this bread is delicious. Looking forward to trying it.
You’re welcome!
This bread is delicious and this guy is an ex felon who helps employ felons 🙂 I have also had issues with printed coupons I don’t bother anymore for my sanity lol
That’s a great story. Thanks
I actually watched his story other day on crime show didn’t realize until the end who it was it was a good story
Coupons self printed for free products no longer are accepted a lot places especially in Bay Area CA. I don’t bother anymore either. This is definitely one of those where I would call first and ask!
Dave is no longer with the company, he left a few years ago. After local press smearing him, he did an interview with ‘How I Built This’ if you’re curious what happened. They really did him dirty and are now using his image and story.
Thanks, super easy.
You’re welcome, Deanna!
I was going to print mine twice but realized the barcode number was the same. I am still really happy for one!
I was able to print twice. Notice that the PIN number in the lower left corner is different when you print twice so I am assuming we can use the two prints since these numbers are different.
If you used each coupon at a different store it might still work. It’s worth a try you can always cancel the order if it doesn’t go through
I won a loaf of bread thank you!
You’re so welcome!
Anyone else have a problem after pressing Submit? Just spinning? I entered the second contest too where you win a years supply of bread… same thing happened. Maybe I’ll call customer service. Thank you Hip2Save!! This is exactly the bread I buy! It’s great! You can freeze this bread too!!
You’re so welcome! Thanks for the tip! Maybe wait a moment and try again. Hoping it works for you soon!
Same issue
yep! tried three times. just spins forever…
Any ideas on which stores accepts this coupon?
My local Kroger does.
Thanks Bunny!
Publix
Does anyone know where to buy this bread? I’m in Illinois. It shows up online at Kroger, but they never have it in store.
Costco sells it
I don’t believe Costco takes any coupons except their own. This might work at Ralphs in Los Angeles
But I don’t think Costco takes coupons….and my Costco only sells a two pack, no singles.
Walmart
we buy it at target and grocery outlet
I buy this bread at Meijer
Awesome thank you! Mine expires 5/31/21
You are very welcome, Angie! We appreciate you letting us know you got it!
I want some bread. Thank you the spread cost about five dollars a loaf. I tried it once when it first came out and I wasn’t too impressed but I will try a different variety this time and I’m actually out of bread so this is perfect thank you Collin
I checked my email.. coupon was in there!!
Yay! So glad to hear you got it! Thanks for following up!
my screen just scrolls around and around a circle is anyone else experiencing that?
Anyone know if you can use “free item” self-printed coupons at CVS? I didn’t see a restriction on their website.
Very unlikely CVS would carry this.
I know Harris teeter doesn’t allow. Can I use this at Walmart?
How long does it take to receive this coupon? I’ve been waiting a couple hours
Same. I’ve been waiting about 3 hours. Didn’t get anything yet.
Try different Browser. I did that in IE and it worked
It took several hours, but the email with the coupon has arrived.
Love this bread and bagels the best!!& healthy
I played the game and still haven’t received my coupon? How long does it take to get it?
Try different Browser. I did that in IE and it worked
Okay, so I finally got my coupon and here’s something interesting, so far it’s allowed me to print the coupon 4 times all with different PIN numbers???
Had trouble at Safeway redeeming. Major hassle. Talked to manager and showed them email.
Only took about 2 minutes to receive the email with the coupon. Was able to print twice and each coupon has a different PIN #. Love this bread and it is expensive. In Illinois, Woodman’s carries it. Not sure about Mariano’s. Jewel won’t take printed coupons for free items.
Yay! So glad you got it and thanks for the tips on the stores!
Hope the coupon works. This is the best bread!
I played but never got the coupon.
You need to opt in for emails. I didn’t the first time and didn’t get the coupon.
The coupon did come w/o opting in. Just took longer to show up.
Publix has and they take no problem…
If you don’t want to play or never received a coupon, you can go to their website and download a coupon. https://www.daveskillerbread.com/tdm
Love this bread…thank y’all!
That was fun. Thank you
You’re so welcome!
Thank you!
You bet!
Worthless coupon, there aren’t any stores that will accept a printed coupon for a free item.
My Publix does.
Such a great freebie, thanks for sharing!
Dave’s organic 2-pack @ Costco is our go-to bread!
You’re most welcome!
There doesn’t seem to be a limit to how many times you can print this despite it saying only 2 prints allowed.
I never have a problem with Kroger stores accepting these coupons. However when I took a picture of it nothing happened. My phone is one day old and it didn’t work. LOL
This is our favorite bread! All the different kinds!
Thank you!
You’re so welcome!
It only gave me a coupon for $1 off a loaf, not a free loaf. It said they were “out of” the free loaf coupons.
I’ve wanted to try this bread, so I’ll probably use the coupon anyway.
Thanks, Cyndi! I’m seeing that now as well.
Hi, I just used this coupon at Big Y (grocery chain in the Northeast). They accepted it fine, but the manager did have to come over and put their code in the register, which held up the line for a few minutes. Hope others get their free bread too 🙂
SO glad the coupon worked for you, Kathy! Thanks for the update!
Today I used my free loaf of Dave’s killer bread at whole foods, no problem. Retail price was $5.69. Then I went to dollar tree which I haven’t been to in a while and they actually had to Dave’s killer bread there for one dollar. Don’t know how often they will have it it was just random
Oh wow! GREAT find! Thanks for letting us know what you spotted at the Dollar Tree!
Luckily we have a bread outlet w this brand at $2/loaf …all kinds… love this bread…
