(Thanks, Ben!)
This is not the first time Sabra has had a recall=(
Don’t get me wrong I still buy in the store but it’s easy and tastier to make your own!
Would love to see a post with great hummus recipes, and links to the teams fave food processors or immersion blenders please =)
Yeah, I’m with you too! Also, Sabra has tested as having the highest glyphosate levels…just be careful you all. I’ve enjoyed blending up some tasty recipes at home also, having my kids involved and helping. Here’s a good base to start: garbanzo beans (canned works great), tahini, lemon juice, EVOO, salt, water. You can add flavoring like 2 garlic cloves, chipotle sauce, add roasted bell peppers or beets for added nutrition. I personally love the garlic flavor:)
I always buy Aldis organic. It is $2.29 and has 0 canola oil.
