Meow Mix is Recalling Dry Cat Food Sold at Walmart Due to Salmonella Concerns

This recall concerns cat food sold at select Walmart stores!

If Meow Mix is your preferred brand of cat food, be sure to read! A voluntary recall has been issued for the 30lb bag of Meow Mix’s Original Choice Dry Cat Food that was sold at Walmart in select states.

The recall is due to concerns over food that may potentially be contaminated with Salmonella. Fortunately, this is merely a precaution as no actual cases have been reported at this time.

Affected bags would have been sold in Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Utah, Wisconsin, and Wyoming with the UPC code 2927452099 and an expiration date of either September 14th or 15th, 2022.

Have these bags at home? You are advised to dispose of them immediately and wash your hands thoroughly after any contact with the packaging, just to be on the safe side!
