Is this similar to Borax?
Both Borax and Washing soda form a basic solution in water that have benefits when adding to your laundry (great cleaning agents). But, Borax doesn’t dissolve well in anything other than hot water. If you prefer to wash your clothes in cold or warm water, you may want to use washing soda instead.
I have been using borax in my washer with warm water and it seems to be dissolving, anyway, haven’t seen any residue. But I’m going to start using the washing soda now, since I use cold water in the summer to wash most everything. Thanks
