Great deal thanks! I’ve never heard of the “booster” cpn? Is it like the cpns labeled ” for you” ?
It is! Look for a coupon with a yellow circle with a dollar amount in it. It’s usually the top coupon available. Here’s a screenshot of mine to show you what to look for: https://hip2save.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Walgreens-Booster-Coupon.png
Okay great that’s what I got too I didn’t know that’s what it’s called. Thank you!
Thanks for this deal!
You’re so welcome!
That’s awesome deal.
Thank you !!
If I use my Walgreens cash to pay,
Can I still get both $10 cash and booster coupon cash ?
I am confused about their coupon policy.
You won’t be able to earn Walgreens Cash on this deal if you use Walgreens Cash to pay, as it’s a “threshold deal” – where you have to spend a certain amount of money to earn the rewards. If it were a deal where you needed to buy a certain number of items, instead, you could spend & earn on that deal. Hope that helps!
Thank you so much for making it clear !
It is helpful .
I really appreciate it 🙂
Happy to help! 😊

No don’t do that. Check out Hip2Save’s guide to Walgreens shopping.
https://hip2save.com/save-money-with/walgreens-coupons/
Also go to Walgreens.com/help and read through the questions and answers plus the actual coupon policy. It’s a really short answer but look at the actual language in the ad. If it says something like “buy 2 Almay eyeliners and get $5 WC” you can both earn and redeem WC. If the ad says “spend $20 on Almay cosmetics” than you can’t earn WC while redeeming it because in Walgreens view you haven’t spent $20 since the WC you are using to pay came from them.
Thank you so much for your kind instruction and the details.
I really appreciate your thoughtfulness !!
Have a great summer 🙂

😄You too!
AWESOME deal!! Thank you so much.
You’re very welcome!
just tried it at my walgreens and nexus products are not on sale at all. they rang up 16.99
Their online prices are definitely better than $16.99! I would shop online and select store pick-up to score this freebie.
how do i use coupons.com coupons for online pick up? thanks

You would use the Walgreens digital manufacturer’s coupons that are in your Walgreens account. Make sure you also look for your Mystery digital coupon that Stacey described in the comments above. Now just in case the things you want are not available for store pickup consider a ship to store order. As to the coupons.com coupons check if there’s a good deal at CVS, Walmart,or Target. You could also consider using the coupons with your WC from the first deal and get it pretty much free; free is good even if you aren’t earning WC the second time around. The store prices are high for sure.
thank you
I’ll go ahead and take those printable coupons out since the prices aren’t matching up with online prices. Thanks for the heads up, shopformybabies!
Target has buy 4 Nexxus products, get a $5 gift card so they might be a great spot to take the printable coupons.
thank you again. I ordered online to be shipped to store. my total for 3 shampoos was 14.93 today it says i have 16.00 in rewards so it all worked for me and my order should be there in a few days.

That’s great! In your email telling you that it is ready for pickup there will be a bar code for 25% off full priced items. Any coupons that you use come off first than the 25%. Just in case there is something else you want.
In order to get $10 in rewards you must spend $20 before coupons, but in your fist example the total is $16 something therefore you won’t be able to get $10 back, I’ve tried it and is not giving the $10 🤷🏻♀️
Since shampoos are on sale the total doesn’t come out to be $25 as stated, is $16 something therefore not reaching the min $20 in order to get $10 in rewards

In the first example there are 3 shampoos . 2 Nexxus and 1 Nexxus curl and define. That brings you over the $20 mark. The coupons used are manufacturer’s coupons which are paid to Walgreens by the manufacturer on your behalf. Manufacturer’s coupons do not count against meeting the dollar threshold. only Walgreens coupons count against the threshold since Walgreens pays for those. Put 3shampoos in the cart. Use both the $8 and the $5 coupon and you are set.
Thanks, JD827!
I don’t have the $8 off coupon.. not sure why. 😞
Me neither. They may be all “clipped.”
I still find it listed when I search “Nexxus” on the coupon page. Hope this helps!
I placed an order for pick up in store and checked “allow substitutions of any nexxus shampoo or conditioner”. All the coupons worked and it said I would receive $15 Walgreens cash (which included my “special coupon”) but unfortunately one of the items was out of stock so they just cancelled it instead of substituting it so the deal is no good for me now. 🙁 I called the store and the girl was very apologetic but said she didn’t know if I would want something different so she just cancelled it…. I have never had substitutions work for me at Walgreens so If I ever order online for pick up in store again I am going to call the store immediately and ask them to please allow substitutions as I am happy with literally any item of the same brand (as I put in the notes lol)!
Oh darn! Sorry to hear about that, Ellen!
Hello everyone! I havent shopped at Walgreens in ages so I am not current with their deals. These are my questions:
1. Mystery deal: I do see the link at the top of the page, but when I click on it nothing happens.
2. How do I know if I have a booster? When I click on the link above in the post, it just brings me to ALL coupons
3. Can someone confirm that I will get the $10 WC even if the amount paid is less than $20?
TIA,

You must sign into your account first. Open the coupons and usually it will be the first coupon listed. If you have enabled emails from Walgreens you might have gotten an email telling you about your mystery deal and you can clip the coupon within the email.
Hi there! Be sure you are logged in to your account when clicking through that “booster coupon” link above. I do still find it listed when I click through now. Yes, you will get the $10 WC when you buy $20 or more in participating Nexxus products. Hope this helps!
Deal worked wonderfully. Thanks a lot.
Yay! You’re so welcome, Briana!
How do I know from my order that I’ll get the $10 back? My order and receipt showed the $13 off for the two coupons. If I don’t get the $10 cash rewards, I probably won’t keep the order. Thanks for any information.
Hey Susan, you’ll see the estimated rewards in your cart under where your total is (all the way down). When you pick up your order, your receipt will show the rewards earned on this trip down near the bottom.
This must be an online deal only because store is regular price –which stinks because I can’t use printable coupons
Hi there! It looks like you can use the digital offers above and opt for store pick up if available near you. Hope that helps!

Tara, yes you can. I was really slow last night because it was late and my brain was working on low speed when I replied above. It works because unlike RRs, WC deals are repeatable in the same order. Choose 3 items that get you above $40 and are listed as part of the deal. Use the $8 and the $5 printable and earn $20 back in WC.

Here’s how it would work for 3 items priced at $16 in the store. Total would be $48 minus your $8 and $5 printable for $35 OOP. Earn back $20 in WC. Final cost is $15 for the 3 items or $5 apiece. Do not pay with MyWalgreens cash or Walgreens gift card or store credit. I hope this helps you.
Unfortunately that isn’t how it worked—I completed the transaction with 6 nexxus and was charged $9X.XX. Obviously I told her they should be on sale —she said nope–every store is different and called over a mgr who said the same thing. I returned them and left.

No they aren’t on sale in the store. And yes it is absolutely true that prices vary from store to store. You would have to work with what the shelf price is and how many coupons you can use per transaction which I believe is two of like kind. The Walgreens cash is after the transaction. Sorry it didn’t work for you. Returning is always a good remedy and hope the next deal is better.
Wow, $90 something is a little crazy!
If you bought six at $16.99, it would be $101.94 and depending on what coupons you use, it could come down to as low as $71.94 (all printables). You’d get back $50 in points (based on the $101 amount).
If you used digitals, you’d have to make sure and get one of the Curl & Define Shampoos so you could use the $8/2 and both $5 digital coupons. With digitals only, you’d definitely only want to buy 4. It would come to $67.96 and take out the $18 in coupons for a total of $49.96 that you’d pay. Then, you’d get $30 back in rewards or as much as $35 with the booster.
I didn’t see any $8 off coupon. The only one showing is $5

It is possible the coupon reached its limits as to how many coupons the manufacturer will allow to be used. People were clipping last week in anticipation of this deal. Try putting 3 eligible products in your cart. If it says “coupon available” you can clip it in the cart. If not it might be gone. If so see my post above on how to use printables from coupons.com in the store.
Just an FYI: I paired this deal with part of the ones listed in another post and the total was $37.00 (& change) and the estimated Walgreen’s cash showed as $23.00 (& change). I used $10.00 of my existing Walgreen’s cash and the rest with my debit card. I still got the total amount of rewards. I checked my Walgreen’s app to make sure. So, that was good to know for future reference.
After having so much trouble trying to do this deal, I was finally able to. At checkout It kept on telling me that they do not ship to my state. I think that was an error, or they’re sold out of that specific shampoo I was trying to purchase. I went with a different Nexxus shampoo and it worked like a charm! I bought 3 Nexxus Weightless Moisture shampoos, subtotal was $21.57 – $13 in digital coupons= $8.57 before taxes, and received $10.21 in Walgreens cash! Thanks H2S!
You are welcome! I’m glad you got it to work for you!
