I have these boots and they rub my heel raw every time. My friend said the exact same thing too. Mine are broken in and still do this. I contacted Sorrel and they couldn’t care less.
Sorel’s do run pretty narrow. Perhaps you need thicker socks? I’m sorry you did not get a well reception from them, I have had complimentary experiences every time I’ve reached out.
I wish other colors of the torfino were on sale!!
Did you see the Disney frozen 2 Torfino Silver with snowflake keys imprinted gowind down the back there are 3 frozen women’s styles and many more children’s and they are on sale too!
I love mine! I fortunately have not experienced any rubbing on my ankles like a previous poster stated. YMMV.
Me too! I love mine! Got mine at full price about 7-8 years ago and they’re still working like new. Kept my feet dry and warm in the heavy snow and rain during our brutal winters. These are the only snow boots I wear every winter!
Love to hear how much these help you!
Love my Joan’s. I finally broke down and bought a pair last tear during some 40 below winter days and they are amazing. I have skinny size 8 feet and always wear a heavy wool sock but never experienced any rubbing. I look forward to any snow for a reason to wear them. So cute too.
Thank you for telling us how these work for you, dblD amber!
I brought the Joan of Arc one about a year ago when posted on here. True to size, I am still able to wear wool socks with no problem. I only wear them when I am actually going to be in the snow or out in the cold for long periods, so not too often but even walking with in a 6 inches of snow, no issues. Keeps my feet warm and dry.
I wish there was a men’s version of this boot, or that Sorel made bigger women’s sizes…
I have these boots in a size 8 (and I have wide feet), and haven’t experienced any rubbing as a previous poster mentioned. I have had them since I was in college (maybe 2011 or 2012?), and they still work great and keep my feet toasty. I do only wear them outside and only when it’s really cold, because my feet can get a little sweaty in them.
