The up&up glue does not work. Please get Elmer’s!
Walmart has the Crayola crayons for $.50 and colored pencils, 12 pack, for $.97 also. I wish Target opened before 8.
Great find! Thanks so much for the reminder! https://hip2save.com/2020/06/22/cra-z-art-super-washable-broadline-markers-10-pack-only-50%c2%a2-at-walmart/
Anyone have thoughts on the Up & Up crayons vs Crayola?
As an OT, I find the Crayola ones to be far superior, both in wax, drag on the paper (helps with fine motor control) and vibrancy. The best thing you can do with any crayon is to break them in half (but not in front of the child -based on experience!), as this fosters a more appropriate grasp. It’s harder to be maladaptive on a small crayon.
Thank you! My 3 year old is autistic, and the vibrancy is absolutely important in our case to hold his interest. As an OT, do you have any experience with the BIC durable crayons that are paperless? If I don’t remove the paper from the Crayola ones prior to use, he will spend the majority of his time removing it instead of coloring. 😆
I love this price – time to stock up on crayons for the year! Great for stockings, Easter baskets, gift closet, etc. 🙂
Agreed!
Please note that some of these markers are not ‘washable’
