I purchased the kit because I love Harry Potter and Lucy’s patterns are always well written and the characters turn out so cute. The hook that comes with the kit is amazing but only as a novelty and if you’re new to crochet, I’d suggest using your own.
I would also say the patterns aren’t for beginners necessarily so if you find it difficult, keep at it and you’ll figure it out. I had a little trouble but contacted the author on Facebook and she replied fairly quickly so that definitely gives this an extra star; I wish you could give more than 5 stars!
I like the fact that you get patterns for all the characters, with great little clothes to crochet. The stitch instructions are done well for people new to crochet. The author is very complete in her instructions by her use of photos, which are very helpful.
I have been doing Amigurumi for over 3 years and have purchased many books, and even though her book is a little stiff, it’s a most wonderful fun time.
