I really like the larger size of this desk mat. It covers a good amount of real estate on my giant desk and keeps my mouse pad from slipping away. The material is a pebbled leather on top and a microsuede like backing. The mat came in a nicely made and crushproof cardboard tube and unrolled to perfectly flat right out of the wrapping. (No curling edges or fold lines in mine.)
The mat’s reverse doesn’t slip on my desk, which is made of glossy, finished plywood. It stays put and has enough room for my mousepad, Bluetooth keyboard, and a full-size legal pad with room to spare. It has a nice feel to the surface and doesn’t stick to you. I do notice though, when I use hand lotion, it will have greasy spots on in unless I rub it away, but it goes away when I do. That might bother some people, so I wanted to mention it.
I’m glad I replaced my slippery, curled plastic desk protector with this one-it’s really nice for the price!
