They do make you drowsy and is the active ingredient in things line tylenol or Advil pm.

Take at night. Do not mix with zyrtec or clariton.
Benedryl has the same ingredient as Zzzquil.
I’ve taken it for years and along with allergy shots it helps my allergies a lot. But it has never made me drowsy at all.

Yesterday I purchased 100 count at dollar general for $1.00.(off brand)I also purchase the low does aspirin 100 ct for $1.00 there. Best price I have found. Never had any issue with off brand.
