How to Call Santa & 5 Other Convenient Ways to Connect w/ Him This Christmas
Find out how to call Santa this holiday season!
Connect with Santa from home this Christmas! 🎅
After a year of socially distant Santa visits in 2020, many shopping malls, retailers, and other locations are once again offering face-to-face visits with the head elf himself.
If you live near a Bass Pro Shop or Cabela’s, these retailers are both taking reservations for in-person visits with Santa, including a FREE photo to take home with you! Head on over here to find a location and book a visit before Christmas!
Last year, many families opted to connect with Santa via phone or video chat due to COVID. While some children are eager to resume all the traditional lap-sitting and beard-pulling, other families have found that they really enjoy the convenience of chatting with Santa from home.
Thankfully, the North Pole has excellent WiFi and there are several virtual alternatives to traditional Santa visits again this year! For those families who would prefer to connect with Santa remotely, here are some of the options available to you in 2021…
1. Enjoy a FREE virtual visit to Macy’s Santaland.
Now through Thursday, December 24, Macy’s Santaland at Home will be available online seven days a week. Up to three children can participate in this FREE interactive experience at one time, and reservations are not needed.
Each visit includes a chance to share your wishlist with Santa and take a selfie with him. Visit Macy’s virtual Santaland to learn more!
Prefer an in-person visit? Macy’s is now accepting reservations for in-store visits with Santa at select locations. Head on over here to see if Santa will be at a Macy’s near you, and book your FREE reservation today!
2. Get a FREE personalized phone call or video from Santa.
PackageFromSanta.com is a paid Santa Letter & Package delivery service that sends an authentic North Pole package directly to your child. This service also offers a couple of free options, including a FREE personalized phone message from Santa when you download the app.
You can also customize a FREE personalized video message to your child from Santa. This video will be ready in about an hour for you to download and watch for a limited number of viewings.
3. Send your child a personalized video message from Santa.
Portable North Pole (PNP) is an online platform that includes both a website and an app used by Santa to send personalized video messages and phone calls to children everywhere. In just a few simple steps, you can help Santa gather all the information he needs about your child to create a special video message or phone call just for them.
There are many upgrades you can purchase, but several Hip kids have received the free video and found it to be extremely well done and very magical!
4. Call Santa’s FREE Holiday Hotline!
Do you know how to call Santa at any time? We do! Since 2009, kids have been calling Santa’s Holiday Hotline at 951-262-3062.
While Santa is busily preparing for Christmas, your child will hear a recorded message from him and have the opportunity to leave a voicemail with their Christmas wishes.
Note that this number is free for most major carriers; however, it does not appear to be free for TMobile users.
5. Book a Zoom meeting with Santa through Live Calls With Santa.
Live Calls With Santa is a paid service that you can use to book a live Zoom call with Santa. You can customize your experience so that Santa will greet your child by name and talk to them about their interests.
Base packages start at $19.95 and include a live 5-minute video chat with Santa from his workshop at the North Pole. You can upgrade your package to include a video recording of your chat, a fully edited highlight reel, and more.
6. Write a letter to Santa.
This time-tested tradition has been the most popular method of contacting Santa for generations, and it’s still a FREE activity that you can do from home. Download our FREE North Pole letterhead and make sure your child gets a reply from Santa!
We did this for our daughter when she was little (currently 11) and it was amazing. She was always worried sheβd land on the naughty list (she never would in a million years, her brother is another story) an this was a quick way to ease that anxiety. Besides that the quality of the video was great. Iβd send a copy to my parents so they could see it. My mon would always cry. A great freebie for sure. We upgraded but either way, a wonderful memory she still talks about.
You had me laughing about her brother! Sounds like my house. I’m glad this worked so well for you!
Another fun thing to do if you have a vehicle equipped with OnStar you can press the button on Christmas Eve and the live advisors can update your kids on Santa’s location around the globe. The advisors are great with the kids and make it fun for everyone. We usually put on pajamas and hop in the car in the driveway for an update.
