A family of 5 having fun at a Great Wolf Lodge Water Park

Spend TWO days at the waterpark and don’t worry about packing towels or a life vest!

On your day of arrival, you can head straight to the waterpark starting at 1 pm! Even if your room isn’t ready, they’ll have your wristbands so you can go swim right away. Plus, on the day you check out, you can swim at the waterpark until it closes. Just make sure to check out of your room by 11 (varies by hotel), and then head to the pool. Consider packing a small bag with clothes to change into after you’re done swimming.

Plus, there’s no need to pack towels or life vests for your little ones – Great Wolf Lodge provides both!

Book packages for kids activities ahead of time!

If your kids are planning on heading to the arcade, visiting Build-A-Bear (select locations) or participating in other fun activities, it’s a great idea to book packages ahead of time. Not only will you save because you’re booking a package, but extra charges won’t sneak up on you while you’re on vacation.

We opted for the Paw Pass because the kids were dying to do the MagiQuest. If given the opportunity, my kids that were seven and eight at the time would spend more time doing the MagiQuest than they would at the water park. It is seriously their favorite thing. They had so much fun trying to decipher the clues and complete each mission. – Hip2Save Sidekick, Lina

Be sure to check out the dining packages too that stack with the Great Wolf Lodge Coupons & Discounts!

Great Wolf Lodge offers a variety of dining packages that can save you a ton of money, and make the question “what’s for dinner?” super easy to answer!

Beyond dining packages, we also recommend checking out Hungry as a Wolf! They have a large 16″ pizza that is $14-$16 (depending on location) and can feed your whole family. Sometimes it’s nice to head back to the room with a pizza and just relax after a full day of swimming.

Thank you for posting this deal! Does anyone know a quick way to see what dates you would be able to get that price at? I know you can search for dates then see the prices. But is there a type of rate calendar to see ahead of time? I can’t seem to find one but might be missing it. Thank you Hip2Save for always posting such great deals!

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Your’e very welcome, Becca! πŸ’• When you choose your location and then select dates, it should bring up availability of rooms to book. Next to each of those options, there’s a small link that says “Rate Calendar” that you can click on that should show the rates for each day. πŸ€— Hoping this is helpful!

  2. Mrswheels

Thank you! I’ve been wanting to go for awhile and found a great deal! Only $87 for a night!

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

WOOHOO! πŸ™Œ You’re so welcome, Mrswheels. Hoping you have a wonderful time! πŸ’–

  3. sla129

I tried this and my room was still $500 for 2 adults and 1 child.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Bummer! It does seem that pricing varies depending on your location and the dates selected. I’ve purchased GWL rooms in the past, and opt for non-peak times where the rate is a bit less, in case that’s helpful. πŸ’•

  4. jmv

no rates for $29 pp in my area.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Darn. Thanks for letting us know about rates near you, jmv. Hoping there might be some sales in the future on dates that are a bit less! 🀞

  5. Lindsey

I can’t believe they now charge for parking. At our nearest location, parking is terrible and we often end up parking far out and not even near the building. They already have the added fees on top of room rates. What a disappointing change.

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Such a bummer about the parking situation at your nearest location, Lindsey. πŸ˜” Hoping you might be able to park a bit closer on your next trip! πŸ€žπŸ’ž

    • MrsWise

Which location do you go to that they charge for parking?

  6. Shannon

Crazy resort and parking fees add an additional $70 per night. Was a good deal until the detail was mentioned.

  7. Justine

No way. The resort fee makes this deal not affordable. Plus, no $29 rooms at all in my area.
