I did a lot of research when deciding what to do for our kid that outgrew his front facing car seat. Lots of people switch to some version of a booster but what’s recommend is keeping the kid in a five-point harness as long as realistic. This is the best option because it’s thinner than most car seats so it can fit next to a regular car seat, even in thinner vehicles. It also still has the five point harness but can eventually just act as a booster when outgrown. Great quality and great product. Worth the cost.

This car seat is functional, versatile, and grows with your child. I do not anticipate that I will need to purchase any more car seats/boosters again. Of course hooking it into your car is a workout in itself but that seems to be the theme for all car seats anymore. My daughter is 5 and she is a little on the smaller side so there is still plenty of growing room for her. I have tested out all the lengths of the straps and there is more than enough room even if she were to be a “bigger” 5. I am more than confident the statement “one size fits most” is appropriate for this car seat. There are 3 total size adjustments to raise the straps up for taller kiddos and/or as your child grows. It converts into a booster as well. We are not at that point yet but I was easily able, with the use of a YouTube instructional video, to transition it and then put it back to the original position we are currently using on my own. That in itself is amazing since I can’t normally put things back together on my own lol. We LOVE this car seat/booster!! Zoey loves it too! It’s comfortable, she has plenty of leg room, and she loves having her own cup holders also (it has 2)!.
