Aerie is offering up a pretty sweet freebie today ONLY! Just become a members of Aerie’s free a-list program if you haven’t already (you can do this in-store) and you can score yourself a FREE canvas tote bag with any purchase. This is not advertised online, but has been verified.

i called and they said it’s $5 with suprise card and with a free lotion..still not bad! lady told me the card could have 10-100 bucks!!! i’m going to grab some!!
okay, i just got back from the mall. lady told me wrong on the phone. it’s the free gift for A-list and it includes an aerie in love hand lotion, surprise gift card (every card has at least $10 worth) and the tote bag. don’t have to buy anything only today. i think this will be still available after today but it’s $5 with any purchase..which would still be good considering with all the stuff included.

Too bad this is only happening today. I was at a mall (getting other freebies) on Tues that has an Aerie store. It’s probably a good thing. I have so many tote bags from trade shows, that I really don’t need anymore…even if it is “free”.

🙁 Just went to the Aerie in Cerritos, CA. And no such luck. No gifts at all, apparently. Salesgirl told me that they intended to do promotions related to the A-List, not necessarily free gifts.
I had the same issue as “Nhi” above. They told me they ran out of the tote bags way earlier in the day and that they did require the $5 purchase. She said they ran out of the promo cards a long time ago AND then she said I could not have the free lotion unless I made a purchase because they had to ring it up. This is weird to me because when it’s not a “promo” month as they now call it and they have a free gift (ie. Lotion) you don’t need to make a purchase. I WANT THE OLD Aerie gift program back…this one stinks the big one.
