Fisher-Price Rock ‘N Play Sleeper Owners: Claim Your Cash Refund!
Have you heard about the recent Fisher-Price Class Action Lawsuit? Here’s what to know!
Have you ever owned the Fisher-Price Rock ‘N Play Sleeper? If so, you may be entitled to a cash payout equivalent of up to a full refund. As of now, you have until May 29, 2025 to file a claim.
The payout is thanks to a 19 million dollar settlement that was reached in a class action lawsuit related to the 2019 Rock ‘N Play Sleeper recall. The sleeper was voluntarily recalled after consumers reported it being unsafe, resulting in infant deaths.
If you currently own a sleeper, stop using it and follow the steps below.
Here’s how current and previous owners can file a claim to receive a payout…
If you own a sleeper, stop using it and disable it immediately.
To do so, follow this video tutorial on the settlement website. You’ll need scissors, a permanent marker, and a claimant ID.
If you received your claimant ID in the mail, write the number on your disassembled sleeper using a permanent marker and take a picture as proof of disablement (only applies if you are a current owner).
Next, head to the settlement website and click the “submit a claim” button on the right-hand side of the screen. Fill out the form and upload your picture (if applicable).
If you do not have a claimant ID, click the “register” button on the right-hand side of the settlement homepage and apply for one. Once you have it, you can proceed to fill out the claim form.
Here’s how much you might be eligible to receive!
You can receive the most if you currently own and have disabled your sleeper. If that’s you, you can receive up to these amounts:
- Full Refund if bought between October 12, 2018 and October 12, 2019 with proof of purchase.
- $60 refund if bought between October 12, 2018 and October 12, 2019 without proof of purchase.
- $50 refund if bought between April 12, 2017 and October 11, 2018.
- $40 refund if bought April 11, 2017 or prior.
For those without proof of purchase, the date code stamped on the product will be used to determine your approximate purchase date.
If you no longer own the Rock N’ Play Sleeper and also did not participate in the recall, you can receive between $10 – $35 based on your purchase date.
If you no longer own the Rock’ N Play Sleeper and did participate in and receive a voucher from the recall, you are eligible for $10.
