Bought Beef? Check Now to See If You’re Owed Money
Did you purchase beef from August 2014 to December 2019?

If you purchased beef between August 1, 2014, and December 31, 2019, you may be eligible for compensation for the antitrust class action lawsuit against Cargill and Tyson Foods. The companies settled for $87.5 million to resolve claims that they agreed to divide market share and stop competing during this time to raise beef prices for consumers. For more details head here.
Who is included in the settlement? Anyone who purchased beef (fresh or frozen) made from chuck, loin, rib, or round primal cuts in the following states: Arizona, California, District of Columbia, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. Find a complete list of eligible products here.
How do I submit my claim?
Head to OverchargedForBeef.com to submit a claim form. If you are approved and included in the settlement case, you will receive an equal share cash payment proportional to the amount of beef you purchased during that time. Claim forms must be submitted by June 30, 2026.

Where do you submit info? Not seen it on any links?
Be sure to head to the link above in the box for submitting a claim, then click on “submit a claim” at the top, last – scroll down and click through “Start your claim”. Hope this helps!
My state isn’t listed. :/
Also if you are submitting just for yourself don’t fill out the 2nd section box as it will tell you to provide documentation that you have the legal right to submit on the behalf of the claiment. I had to start over and when I filed out only the top half it skipped the part about the requirement for the legal documentation.
Thanks so much for the helpful comment, Nancy!
