Outshine Fruit Bar Recall Issued Nationwide — Check Your Freezer!

Heads up if you have Outshine Fruit Bars in your freezer!
Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream has issued a voluntary nationwide recall of select Outshine Fruit Bars due to the possible presence of glass pieces in the products.
The recall includes select batches of 6-count Outshine Fruit Bars in the following flavors:
- Strawberry
- Watermelon
- Grape
- Tangerine
- Black Cherry
The affected products were distributed to retailers nationwide and thankfully, no illnesses or injuries have been reported to date.
Have Outshine Fruit Bars in your freezer? Here’s what to check:
- Only specific batch codes and best before dates of the five flavors listed above are included in the recall so you don’t necessarily need to toss your box!
- Check the bottom of your Outshine Fruit Bars package for the UPC, batch code, and Best Before date and then compare that information with the complete list of recalled Outshine products and batch codes here.
- No other Outshine products or varieties are impacted by this recall. It only applies to select batches of the 6-count fruit bars listed above.
What should you do if your Outshine Fruit Bars are recalled?
If your box matches one of the affected batch codes, do not eat the fruit bars. Dispose of the product or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. If you have additional questions, contact Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream at dreyers@casupport.com.
