   Very happy about this, because I just started sending care packages to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, with information from a site called anysoldier.com. One thing the guys want is copies of Maxim, and I didn’t know what it was! So I got a subscription in my 90-yr-old father’s name (he lives with us) and I’m sure he’ll enjoy it before I send it off to a soldier. Now that’s a good value. Thanks.

    My 19 year old son began recieving this magazine without even subscribing to it and from a mother’s view it is pornography! NOT something you’d want lying artound on the coffee table!

    I read it as well. I dont think anything is wrong with the magazine, mostly the girls are in bikinis, to me its like ordering from Victoria Secret catalouge, except this is a magazine with GREAT articles!!

    I have to add a follow-up. When I signed up for the freebie, I went to the Maxim site, to see a bit about the mag. I clicked on “vote for the hometown hottie” and went to a pretty funny and charming page of pictures of young women, some looking like tabloid zombies, but lots of cute normal girls. My adult daughter and I voted for the Portland OR girl and the girl from Weiser, ID! I don’t see a problem with married men enjoying this, but do remember lots of unmarried men read it, too. And gosh, there are so many bigger problems in the world to worry about.
