(Thanks, Southern Cali Saver!)
My cvs doesn’t carry this! 🙁
but be aware, this stuff is the worst tasting on the market! i got it in a rite aid deal and tried it once. thankfully it was free because i tossed it.
But did it work, or did you try enough of it to get a chance? I tried that Buckley’s brand, and to me THAT’s the worst tasting, hot stuff I’ve ever had. But it worked against my cough.
I bought it at Rite Aid also and had bronchitis so I tried it. I forced it down for one day and only felt sicker form the awful taste of the stuff!! My cough and congestion did not get any better. Too many other choices on the market that work and spare me the agony of the taste and burning.
TOTALLY agree! I almost choked! I don’t think it worked great for me, but I only took it once and couldn’t force myself to do it again.
My CVS had this marked on Saturday so I picked it up. Good to know it tastes gross.
Gross taste aside (although the heads up is appreciated) did it work?
Its really, really nasty (I’ve been taking it) but I read some studies that show the active ingredient really works in making the cold/bronchitis get better quicker…not sure its helping my symptoms but i take Dayquil with it since it has no med interactions…
So it sounds like it doesn’t really work, otherwise you wouldn’t need to take Dayquil on top of it, right?
I think the main reason for taking it is for long term effects….like your cold/bronchitis will get better on average 2 days quicker if you take this stuff. Really though, I have bronchitis right now, and it seems like nothing is helping. So maybe you shouldn’t take my word for it….
Even tho it may be nasty ( I dont know I haven’t tried it.) it would be a great way to roll ECBS since they will be good until after BF! =)
Worked for me! YAY! 🙂 And I used previous ECB’s so only paid 1.07 out of pocket.. even better!!
not at my cvs – in im mass
Not in my CVS near work here in the Atlanta ‘burbs.
DONT FORGET TO VOTE TOMORROW!!!
I was able to do this deal today in Raleigh NC. Thanks i rolled previous EBC’s into it. Thanks!
Faith, Hope you feel better soon!
Thanks 🙂
It was advertized in my CVS. I was so happy because I used some ECB that were about to expire 🙂 Yay! My CVS had like 10 in stock. Go get em’!
What is an ECB?
Extra Care Bucks print out on your receipt and are like coupon cash you can spend at your CVS.
I got mine today. With these comments I might be tossing it in the donation pile.
Where can we donate OTC meds? I am building a huge pile for this reason, but no churches I have contacted will take them. Thanks.
I give all my items to our local women’s shelter. They are short funded and very much appreciate all the toiletries I give them.
Got one yesterday. It wasn’t marked in my store so they have lots in stock. Also got the Bayer Didget (the last one) and rolled my 13 ECB from previous Oral B Vitality raincheck. Paid a dollar and tax and got back 10 ECB from the Didget and 8.99 from the Cold Buster.
