At my store I found the Pedi Expert shower kits on clearance for 2.59. They ring up at bogo half off. that makes it 3.89 for both, and then I used the 3 off pedi expert in the december coupon booklet. It beeped, but the cashier pushed it through, which made them 45 cents each!!! 🙂 These retail at 9.99!!! 🙂

    Hey, Collin-
Here is a $6 MM scenario for the Vicks deal:

    Buy 4 Sinex at $5
    =$20
    less 4 x $4 coupons from 12/26 P&G
    $4 OOP
Get $10 RR for buying $20 in Vicks products 🙂
    $6 MM !!!!!!!!!

I did this last night and worked great. There were signs for the Dayquil Sinex on sale for $5 and Register Reward info, but it was sold out. I did a price check on the Night time one, and it is $5 also.

My store had the eye shadow duo on sale for 2.29. I bought 2 of them, and 1 concealer priced at 3.49. Used 2 X 2.00 off coupon, and 1 3.00 off coupons, and then used the wags coupon the took off another 6.00. It came out to be a 4.93 MM for me. I am glad I had some things to absorb the overage!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      what brand? TIA

  4. tory

I visited walgreen last night and was told that I was using too many coupons. What? The “sales” they advertised did not ring up. I ended up being charged over $5 more than I should have and they didn’t give me the register rewards they were advertising! I’m sticking with CVS from now on!

    • Emily

Really? Contact catalina, and they’ll send you the RR’s in the mail. Contact corporate about your wags, that’s just not right! 🙁

      • Tory

Do you know the contact info by chance? I’m fairly new to couponing!

        • Tory

Never mind, I found a number for Catalina. It is 1-888-826-8766 in case anyone else needs it!

    • Natosha

Same thing happened to me at my local walgreens with the toothpaste/ mouthwash deal! I do not even like going to Walgreens. (I prefer CVS!) Their machine never gives me the RR like it is supposed to. 🙁

      • Emily

When I went a while ago for the hallmark deal, and to get the 5 rr super jingle cash wyb 25. That was before they changed all of the rules to before wags coupons and everything. I bought EVERYTHING, and then they said the catalina machine was broken. I was dissapointed. CVS is awesome for their deals! They always give rain checks! 🙂

I have had such awful experiences with Walgreens lately even in multiple cities. I very rarely have any problems at CVS on coupons. Its ridiculous and I was looking forward to the Sponge Bob Softsoap to go on sale to use all these coupons. After yesterday, I officially only use Walgreens for ink cartridge refills or at least til I can find a cheaper way!

  5. Jessica

Off the topic but if anyone happens to have an amazon diaper code they could spare I could really use one with my two girls in diapers! TIA!! bradfieldfamily@gmail.com

    • Tomoko

I just send you a code.

When does Wags and other stores for that matter, usually go to 75% off (or higher) on Christmas stuff?

    • Emily

Stores clearance things higher normally on mondays. So, probably next monday. The selection might be scarce though. HTH.

  7. tgebbeken

I was at Walgreens today and they had their Loreal lipsticks for $2.59 and they were also part of the BOGO advertised. Here is the scenario I used:

10 Loreal Lip colors Clearenced out for $2.59 each = 25.90
    After BOGO =$15.55
Use 10 2/1 coupons from ?(can’t remember where I got them out of.:) )
= FREE lipsticks! (The coupons never beeped)
I looked for filler items and ended up getting Christmas candy 50% of so I paid a total of $0.22 for everything! I love coupons!

I have $3/1 tearpad coupon and they said I could not use it. She didn’t even try. I was planning on buying other things, I don’t even care about overage, but she said she could not adjust it.

  9. Laura

Thanks! I was able to score my mom 2 ban deodorants (only brand she uses) for cheap! She always wants my stuff I get for cheap or free (even tho I try explaining to her how to do it. ugh) So finally I can give her something that was actually meant for her! lol

  10. mythreesons1967

You can also go to family dollar store and get softsoap for $1 and if you use the .50 cent off coupon that was in the november issue of all you then its .50 for hand soap we go through alot of it here.

  11. Lynn

one of my local wags will issue the value on a gift card whenever their RR machine is down. How cool is that!
They are not all bad, and the one closest to me did change attitude after I politely emailed corporate asking them to send the managers a reminder about the corp coupon policy.
(I was about to give up on them)

BTW – one local wags had a holiday gift bag drawing for folks who checked out through cosmetics. I was one of the lucky three, so I had girly gifts to spare this year. Woo Hoo.

  12. xBillBx

In regards to the Ban deodorant, what does “$1.49 with in ad coupon” mean?
If I print the above .75 coupon will I pay .74 or do I need an additional coupon to get the price down that much?

    Thank you.

    • Sharon B.

Use the Walgreen’s weekly sale paper to clip the Ban coupon that drops the regular price to the sale price, then stack it with your .75 coupon found above.

  13. xBillBx

    Thank you, Sharon.

  14. Sarah

Here is a deal I ran across today!
Buy 2 swiffer wetjet refill pads on sale $4.71/1 and 1 magic eraser 2pk on sale $1.94, use 2 $5/1 swiffer wetjet from sunday’s p&g [looks like it is just for the starter kit, but it WORKS], you spend $1.36 OOP and recieve a $2 RR = $.64 MONEYMAKER!! No matter what you pair up with it, it’s free refill pads, but this is the best deal I could see.

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m not finding the Ban deodorant coupon. What zip code should I be using?

  16. xBillBx

I printed the Ban coupon from Coupons.com, last night.
Used 2 of them today along with in store ad.
74 cents each, savings of 6.50.

Was I supposed to receive receipt coupons when I checked out? Is that what the “Catalinas” are? Not sure I received them.

    • Shaheena

What zip code did you use? I’ve been looking for days and can’t find them!
