i think you can only use 1 of the bonus VVs per transaction.
I have on more than one occasion used as many as nine $1 bonus VV coupons in one transaction with absolutely no problems. (I have three VV accounts and watch A LOT of videos while clipping coupons!) I figure it wouldn’t work if it wasn’t okay, right?
you are only allowed to have one VV account per household…. be careful, you may get in trouble
Do you know where specifically it says you can only have one video value account per household. I read the adperk terms and the only thing I found was “Accounts are limited to one per person.”
I don’t remember reading that there could be only one VV account per household. I was going to try to set up VV accounts for my husband and each of my kids, but decided to read the ‘terms’ that everyone has to agree to. It states that there can only be one account per person, and you are not allowed to use anyone else’s account. Here’s the official word:
Under part B of section 3:
“B. In order to access some features of the AdPerk Website, You will have to create or register for an account. You may never use another’s account or allow another to use Yours.”
The last sentence of the same paragraph is as follows: “Accounts are limited to one per person.”
I’ve debated with myself if it’s okay for my husband to watch some videos, print the coupons out, and then give the coupons to me to use at the store, but I’ve determined that I feel better about not doing that…
My Rite Aid also explained to me that more than one $1/1 (off any item over $1) may be used per transaction as long as you are buying at least two items that are each over $1.
I thought it was one per adult living in the household. Over 18 years old. At least that’s what it said when I signed up.
There are 3 separate VV coupons this month, each for $1. You can use all 3 as they have separate coupon codes. They are for watching different videos so they have different codes. I have many times used different VV coupons in one transaction without any issues. You CAN’T use the same VV coupon twice on one account, it will beep.
I really wish we had Rite-Aids down here. Sooo many great deals there!
Same here 🙁
Basically all food items till the 22nd. You will get a $1.00 UP for each one. I have been stocking up on the rice and other items. Even better when they go on sale because you get the $1.00 UP plus the sale price UP. Thanks Rite Aide. But make sure to watch the expiration dates. I had three cans of Progresso soup that expired in NOV.
melissa = I have use two VV before, one from each month.
the bonus VVs? I guess its up to each store then b/c I had a $1 VV from Nov and the $1 from Dec and the cashier said I could only use 1 of the bonus VVs per transaction.
It’s fine if the coupons are from different months. They have different codes anyway.
I have some of the $1 off any Planters product coupons (printed them when they were available a few weeks ago), and tried to use them on these bars at CVS yesterday. They beeped, so a manager came over and concluded that they wouldn’t work because of the ounce requirement. The box is 6 ounces total and coupon stated any product over 5.5 ounces… she said it was because each bar was only 1 ounce! I couldn’t believe it. She was just fishing for any excuse as to why the coupon beeped. I am going to try again at a different CVS today…just FYI in case anyone else still has those coupons.
OMG, thats the funniest thing I’ve ever heard!! LOL
That’s got to be one of THE BEST “why-it-beeped excuses” I’ve ever heard!
Whatta crock! Tell her, are you saying I could then use 6 q.’s on this one box if they were 5.5oz each?!! (or how many bars per box) LOL!!!
At Rite Aid, I had the beep too, but when I used them at Walgreens, no beep. They say Walgreens on them so my guess was that was why. Because when I tried to use the Jan Walgreens book coupon with it, that one beeped. I think the Walgreens register thinks of it as a store coupon.
I don’t see the Video value coupon. Could some one guide me please?
its the Bonus VV for watching about RA and how the Wellness program works. There’s 3 total to watch this month.
Thanks Melissa!
Has anyone heard of Rite Aide having a new coupon policy as of 1/1/11? Heard the checkers discussing it yesterday.
My rite aid a couple of weeks ago said they have to now match each cpn to each item before just scanning them at the end of the transaction. They are very nice to me at this store and said they were doing it, because of people using fraudulent cpns. So of course it takes longer to check out. Otherwise I haven’t seen any difference at my store anyway. I am in MI.
weird, I cant find the Planters coupon in the 1/2 SS insert… is it regional?
I’m glad I am not the only one who can’t find the Planters coupon, where is it?
don’t see it either (hampton roads area in VA) I was going crazy looking for it
mine was .75/1 and it was in the back of the SS with the nestle heading and the lean cuisine on the front( in the detroit area)
75 cent Q in Western Pennsylvania — still a good deal for these bars. They are my favorite.
Guess we lucked out…$1.00 coupon in northern New England.
It is in the insert that says “Nestle” at the top. Smartsource is written much smaller on the top right hand side. There was also a larger Smartsource insert that came on 1/2 … it’s not in there.
mine was only .75/1 also in Grand rapids
.75 in Los Angeles too, I was thinking it’s regional
I always get the cheap coupons! $0.75 here in CA too! 🙁
.75 in washington also.
Which areas get the higher coupons? I’m thinking of subscribing to their Sunday paper.
Checked one Rite Aid this morning -they don’t carry the Planter’s Nutrition bars – they had $1 Up on Nature Valley granola bars but the coupons I have for them are not very good. 🙁 Oh well – I did score in the 75% off Christmas clearance section so that made me quite happy! They had some neat things including some Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs boxed Collector Pez sets with story books ……. perfect gifts to bring back my nieces when we go to Disney later this week 😉
Were the Snow White sets 75% off, too? I scanned one at CVS yesterday and it was 19.99! Whew!
only $5 at rite aid if there is any left
I found these in the aisle with the nuts not with the other breakfast bars.
Where do you find the $1 off any item video values coupon? I see coupons for specific items only? Am I missing something?
They are under the Special Offers category in the Video Values. they are for watching the Wellness Plus video and a couple of others.
I bought the bars today…very good! I am going to have to seach for more coupons to get this deal again this week!
Did the UP rewards print on the Nut-rition boxes? My ad doesn’t show them producing an UP, but doesn’t mean it won’t….
I did this transaction at 3 different times. I received the Up each time.
is there a limit on the visine deal?
where did you find that size of visine? I looked in the eye care aisle and by teh check out, any other ideas?? thanks
I have the same question. Where’s the small visine?
I did the visine deal yesterday and today, so it works at least twice. I found them near the register.
Yeah Lisa, not cool. If you have a complaint about someone in particular this is not the place to gossip about those people let alone mention where they shop and their name. Have some class for heavens sake!
This is supposed to be a thread about Planters Peanut deals people!!!
Anon: What are you talking about?? There were only 2 Lisa’s above and they were both offering some helpful info…. not complaining or gossiping.
Hi, Can someone please fill me in. I live in the NW and I didn’t get the SS this week. And sometimes even when I do I don’t have some of the coupons listed. I asked once when I called P&G the lady didn’t know either, if they simply don’t give certain states a circular or certain coupons. Any info. would be helpful. I was surprised I didn’t even get the SS this week.
I live in Washington and I get the Oregonian Sunday paper. The Seattle papers typically don’t carry the Red Plum inserts but most carry the Smart Source. Do you regularly not get it or maybe someone snatched it out of your newspaper? I always look before I buy one, and I know what I should be getting also.
just scored my two boxes!!! paid .50 cents a piece for each, i love rite aid!!!
I was just at my rite aid and they don’t carry the bars so I went for the nuts and they were on sale for $3.99 I thought the sale was 2for $5.00? I did buy 2 cans of nuts and 6 packs of trident gum a dr.pepper and after my coupons and UP rewards I paid $1.57 out of pocket. I wish my rite aid has the same deals that I see posted here.
can’t find the video values coupons for the nuts. They are not listed anywhere in my video values account. Were they from last month or this month?
The VV coupon is not for the nuts its for $1 off any purchase…you could use it on anything.
Bought three boxes today with .75 off. cpn. That is what was in my SS. I did read the final cpn after someone on here had posted one box wasn’t the right size for the ups to print. I also chose to buy the nuts instead for that cpn so it made the nuts about $2 after the ups and cpns. Not too bad for Planters. All four ups did print however the downfall about these bars is the fat content. I have purchased these before and then refused to eat them because of the sugar and fat in each, oh well it didn’t seem to bother my husband in the least and they got used up. I am trying to be more responsible in the new year to not overstock the fridge or cupboards. Things are starting to expire because of all these great deals. Great deal on Trident 6 packs for $1.00. I had already used my vv for Dec and if there was one in Jan.
