Target: *HOT!* Pepperidge Farm Cocoa Adventures Goldfish ONLY $0.21 (No Coupons Needed!)

Well, I am in the process of getting the Target deals up for all of you, but wanted to quickly give you all a heads up on a VERY awesome deal. Currently, Target has the Pepperidge Farm Cocoa Adventures Goldfish on clearance for just $0.21… yes, $0.21!! I guess these are part of the Christmas clearance mark-downs. These are reported to be in the same section as the regular Goldfish and not in the clearance area. Now keep in mind that these will most likely not be marked (like the picture above), so make sure to do a price check.
Come back and let us know if you’re able to score this amazing deal!
(Thanks for the pic and heads up on this deal, Totally Target & This Frugal Life!)
wow great find! i wonder if my target has this same deal, i doubt it though, but i might stop by tomorrow and check. thanks for the heads up
Hersheys smooths are with the regular candy and ringing up .89c. I believe they are $3.49+ originally. 🙂
Sounds yummy!
I bought some the other day, and they were in the Christmas section marked down 90%. The ones I got were very small (1 ounce) and was in the shape of a book.
You won’t find any more at my Ts, as of last week. 😉
I got some last week that rang up for $.54 each – found the deal from a comment on a blog post somewhere. They must be ringing up even lower now!
I got a bunch when they were 75% off too. I figured in my area they’d be gone if I waited. The kids are loving that flavor!
Wow I was just at Target tonight but I didn’t see these. Might have to go back tomorrow.
Well if we hadn’t just gotten hit with snow, I’d go check mine out. We’re not prepped for snow in the South, LOL!
I was just asking one of my friends that now lives in Tennesee that it is weird how much snow you guys are getting I live in Michigan and we have a little bit but nothing like you guys in the south are suppose to get Too Weird though!!!
Blame my in-laws, they just moved to TN from MI a few months ago 🙂 I maintain that they took it all with them!
i feel ya were n ar & ppl freak out over snow lol
it’s so funny to me when people talk about getting snow and not being used to it, the whole town shuts down, etc. I have 3 feet of snow in my yard and 4 foot snow banks along my driveway and sidewalks! And I live on Lake Superior in Duluth, MN, so our lake effect snow piles up quickly, usually 12-20 inches at a time!
lol Kristin, I hear ya, I’m in Bemidji and we laugh too at how people can’t drive or function in 6 inches of snow or something…but then again, they laugh at me when I am completely immobilized at heat over 100 degrees! 🙂
If you live in an area that has frequent snow chances are it also has adequate snow removal services, something people who live in areas with less snow don’t have. I’m betting you never have to wait three days for your road to be plowed either. Plus more people will own four wheel drives, an otherwise unneeded expense for the average driver.
I wish more people realized that. It really makes me tick when people start talking about us in the south not knowing how to drive in snow. It’s not that we can’t drive (okay, well….some people really can’t lol) but we aren’t prepared. I don’t know anyone here who has snowtires or chains. Most don’t have a four wheel drive. And besides that, we ended up with alot of ice too. Ice is impossible.
I am in WI, and we are used to tons of snow. Yes, we do wait days, sometimes longer for snow removal. We also don’t have snow tires and chains. Stereotype!!
I was just thinking the same thing. We lived in the mid-south for 4 years, moving there from further north. I never realized how impossible it was to drive with so little snow and ice – we take our snow plows and salt trucks for granted in the further north states!!
I live in NYC and the snow removal is awful. I’m glad I can leave my car parked where it is and take the subway to where I need to go.
We are all snowed in here too. Everything is closed tomorrow.
I was just at Target today (getting my milk, bread and eggs like everyone else in the snow-blown South) and soooo wish I had seen this deal! Hopefully they’ll be some bags left once the roads are drivable again! 🙂
Yeah, i’ve got like 20 packs, they’re ringing .23c- what a great deal!!! I will check other stores tomorrow 🙂
Vikky, where are you located?
like she’ll let us know, lol!! 😉 all in good fun, vikky!
Nice! I’m heading over to Target for some free boxes of Kashi TLC bars tomorrow (on sale $2.65 + $3 off any 1 Kashi product coupons from recyclebank.com). I’ll make a note, so I remember to check for these Goldfish. I can give ’em to my 2 best friends’ for their little 3 girls for snacks.
Thanks for the heads-up, Collin! 🙂
I picked up 10 bags last week. The Pepperidge Farm guy is our neighbor and he said he will keep stocking Target until his supply is gone so I guess it depends how much stock the drivers have if they will fill the shelf again.
I went this morning and our store had them. They were marked “Item not found” when I scanned then. I got someone to look them up and they REFUSED to sell them to me. They claim they are being “salvaged.” I just got home and called the 1-800 number and they agreed that once they are “salvaged” there is nothing they can do, even if they are on the shelves. The donate them to a national organization and to Goodwill food banks
I don’t know whether to be happy their being donated or mad I missed out on the sale. Oh, the emotions of a couponer!
yes all xmas stuff is going to salvage today so this deal isn’t really going to fly many places….even if you do find them they really should sell them to you
Same thing just happened to me! They had a whole SHELF of them and wouldn’t sell them to me.
I just got back from my Target and there they were! Scanned 0. I took 4 to the register (looked for the young, male cashier) told him they were .21 a few days ago on the 90% off sale. He hand priced them .21!! I lucked out! 🙂
Our Target had this item on the shelf, but was also ringing as “Item not found”, the cashier however, knew they were a Christmas mark-down and let me purchase some for .21c (90% off) a piece! How nice!
i had to take mine to customer service and the guy said how about 25 cents? I didn’t want to argue over 4 cents so i said that’s fine…and that 25 cents included tax so it ended up being a better deal since tax in AZ is pretty high
This same thing happened to me tonight, with the item not found thing, except the employee I talked to told me I had to pay reg price – something about after it is zeroed out it goes back to orig. price???! So I went to Cust SVC and the mgr told me I could have them for 75% off b/c he knew those items would just be sent off anyway if they did not sell. (So why not sell for 90% off??) I got 6 of them for .55 cents each. Not bad! I also found a bunch of Christmas books in the dollar spot and was able to get them for .25 cents each.
I got them when the were in with the regular Goldfish crackers. I just thought they looked like a good kind to try! and then they rang up .54! I went back the next day and got a few more bags. Then they must have caught on that they were Christmasy and now they are all gone from the shelves. bummer! they’re really good!!!
I was able to pick up four bags today. They did not ring up in their system at all. The lady at the check out rang them for $2.19 but then I said they should be $.21. She called the customer service desk and . . . yeppers they were!!! Thanks a bunch!!! They are a huge hit with my daughter.
I just bought all of them off the shelf in Bismarck, ND! They weren’t found in the system, but gave them to me for 22 cents each! They were supposed to be sent away with all the Christmas stuff, but got misses. Thanks Colin.
Did any other stores have these on clearance as well?
I just got back from Target. I found them in the goldfish aisle. They are not in the system anymore. The girl in the food section wanted me to pay full price if I wanted to get them($2.90 here) because they were going to pull them off the shelves since they were not in the system. I took the bag I had up to the front and asked and they gave them to me for .24 cents. The lady in the food section grabbed the others off the shelf while I was back there talking to her so I only was able to get one bag. Kids are excited about them.
so annoying… they weren’t in my Target’s system either and they charged me $1. i didn’t argue since i was on the phone but thinking about it now… i’m not a happy camper. 🙁 lol… about being upset about paying .75 more than most people.
My store had them (Mobile, AL) and I got all that were left. The cashier had to manually type in the price, but I got them for 0.21. My 3 kids will love these!! Great score! Thanks Collin!!
I went today and they were not ringing up in the system either…..the guy I asked looked a bit confused but called the manager. I had twelve in my cart and she looked a bit reluctant to sell them to me but she said oh I guess those are .21! Awesome, thanks, I think I was this close to not getting them at all!
Major bummer today. Our Target (Western, PA) didn’t even have this brand on price cut!! 🙁 They were $2.19. To think I was all excited when there were only 6 left thinking I got the end of a great deal. Oh well, maybe next time.
At the Gainesville, Fl Target they are not in the system and they tried to sell them at 2.19 to me. I explained that they were Christmas and the manager wouldn’t hear it. Our target has been “repackaging” things so they don’t have to sell them at 90% off.
what a bummer! My store didn’t have any – in fact, I couldn’t find any Christmas clearance items anymore….oh well!
they didn’t had any in my store 🙁
I went to look for these and couldn’t find them but thought I scored with finding holiday oreos. My friend makes awesome truffles with them and knew I could use these for upcoming parties. They wouldn’t scan so I brought them to c.s. and they said they weren’t in their system anymore but they could sell them at normal price. When I said I didn’t want them they said they would take them off the shelf. Bummed that they wouldn’t sell them at a lower price instead of writing them off! Hopefully they donate them at least…bummer.
My store had a bunch of them probably 30 or more, BUT they came up “Item Not Found” and the manager said they were 2.19 each, the price was stamped on the bag. ARGH…. I didn’t even try to explain it and just said I didn’t want them.
I got 13 bags of these at my Target on Sunday. I decided to call other Targets in my area. One didn’t have them. The other said they had a bunch, but when I got there, they didn’t have any. I was told they were clearanced out. (Duh, I knew that!) The person on the phone must have checked for the “S’mores Adventures” flavor, which is NOT on clearance! The girl at Target was able to check the dcpi from the shelf tag, and she was able to find 2 stores that still had them, but they were both 30 miles away. Not worth it for me, but they are reeeaaallly good!
I was at 3 different Targets in the Cleveland area today (not looking for deals, it was just one of the those days!) and they all had them but they weren’t in the system. They were going to charge me $1,.75 each so I put them back.
The target in the st louis area did not have the fish on sale. They were regular price at $1.75, so they stayed on the shelf.
Ok this was my first night trying to coupon. I went to my Target & they did have these with a $1.75 tag on them. So I price checked them and it said it was “NOT on the stores file” and listed no price. I didnt ask anyone b/c I figured they would just go look at the $1.75 tag. Anyone else have this problem or and tips for me…
I’m sorry your start was with such a quirky item – and from Target, at that. This was a really confusing deal, as it involved merchandise that should have been sold in Christmas clearance but slipped thru the cracks. It was not coming up on the scanner b/c they didn’t know it was still in the store. The same thing happened to me. Don’t be discouraged -this was really an odd deal. If it helps, I learned to coupon from couponmom.com and one of the ladies on there always said to remember “KISS – keep it simple stupid.” Find a store that is friendly to couponers – like Walgreens- and learn the ropes on a few small transactions.
I had the same experience today. Thought I found a jackpot when I found 12 bags but they all came up item not found and they would only give me the 1.75 sale price that the other goldfish are selling for. I just said no thanks.
I got mine today. Found them in the regular goldfish aisle. They did in fact come up “item not found” & the proverbial “young male cashier” said “how much do you want to pay?” I told him 20 cents & he said “sounds good to me!” I cleaned them out! 🙂
