I won a coupon valid for 10% off my next hotel stay when booked through Hotels.com… I have until March 1, 2011 to redeem.
(Thanks, Kimberly!)

I got a free Welcomrewards credit. No idea what this is!
I got 10% off too
i got 10% also
10%
10% – perfect for a Spring break getaway
I got a free welcome rewards credit “You’ve won a bonus welcomerewards credit! No need to redeem anything on hotels.com – simply wait 4-6 weeks for a hotels.com representative to reach out to you with details on how your bonus credit will be added to your welcomerewards account!”
Sounds like a good thing.
Hey, make sure that you are signed up for a welcome member account. It says that you have to be signed up for the welcome members account by Feb something for you to be able to be eligible for the gift. Make sure to check the official rules.
I got 10% off and so did my hubby! We have 2 trips to make in the next month, so these will come in handy! Thanks so much!
Just a heads up! We booked through Hotels.com lat year and they had gone bankrupt so make sure you do some reasearch before booking! We ended up having to pay the Hotels normal fees for this. It was the worst way to start a vacation ever when you find out you have to pay for your rooms twice.:(
I usually will not leave negative comments, but please be careful when booking through hotels.com. We booked a room through them and they falsely represented the hotel brand (it was supposed to be a Sheraton, but the hotel lost it’s licensing due to it’s dirtiness) and we received nothing but a hassle from hotels.com
WHAT A JOKE! I also “liked” them and immediately called to see if I could book a room with 10% off for our anniversary this weekend! My husband is a pastor so we don’t have a lot of extra money floating around so I figured this would be a great way to get a nice room with a little off. Well, after being on the phone with them for quite awhile she said that the 10% off is only good for the first 400 transactions that hotels.com does. They have already used 400 coupon codes so mine (that I got today) wasn’t good; wasn’t worth a penny. I’m not sure why they are still giving out coupon codes but DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!! Pretty dissappointed.
I just called to use mine as well, and there is a HUGE list of hotels that the code cannot be used on; basically all of the big name ones. From their FB page, terms and conditions:
“This offer is not valid on bookings made at the following hotels: Hilton Hotels, Waldorf Astoria, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Doubletree, Embassy Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton, Homewood Suites, Sofitel, Pullman, MGallery, Novotel, Mercure, Ibis, Adagio, All Seasons, Orbis Hotels, Radisson Blu, Park Inn, Regent, Radisson, Country Inn & Suites, Radisson Edwardian, Park Plaza, art’otel, Shangri-la hotels, Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Sleep Inn, Clarion, Cambria Suites, Mainstay Suites, Suburban, EconoLodge, Rodeway Inn , Ascend Collection, InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Indigo, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites, Candlewood Suites, Four Seasons, Paris Las Vegas, Caesars Palace, Caesars Atlantic City, Flamingo Las Vegas, Planet Hollywood, Harrah’s, Bally’s, Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, Showboat Atlantic City, Caesars, Harveys Resort & Casino, Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall, Horseshoe, MGM Grand, Bellagio, Excalibur, Luxor, Mirage, ARIA, Mandalay Bay, New York New York, Circus Circus, Vdara, The Signature at MGM Grand, THEhotel at Mandalay Bay. Participating hotels are subject to change.”
so that leaves, what?? Marriott hotels only??? bummer. (tho I do enjoy a Marriott).
Ahhh of course this comes out today when I booked a $350 stay last night. Oh well, went through upromise so atleast we can get 4% back for college
Sorry to hear about all the hassels with hotels.com! I also got the 10% off a stay. My husband and I use hotels.com for almost every hotel stay we can and have even had the advantage of the 1 night free, once you book 10 (I think) rooms and are about to come up on it again! I’ve even called and swapped hotels a few times and they always have great customer service.
I got the 10% too a couple days ago. I tried to use it on a hotel that met all the qualifications on their terms and conditions and it still said the code was invalid. Bait and switch.
I just placed all my info in, in case we decide at a hotel for our 10th Year Anniversaty, and Yes when I put in the 10% promo Code it did work, but thanks for the heads up I might call and make this reservatio to make sure it works. Or would I need to Call the Hotel to verify that they do contract with hotels.com, If anyone who’s done it could let me know which route to take, I’d greatly would Appreciate it 🙂
