Walmart had the TWO big bags of charcoal on sale 2 for $7.50. I bought 4 bags lol we cookout ALOT!!…I think they still have them on sale, I found mine bag near the garden stuff. I’m in 41501
I did this deal at Walmart too, in Houston/Pearland-TX 🙂
Just wanted to add that to get the 2 for 1 deal, the bags most likely have to be bundled together. At the location I purchased them at they were bundled in blue plastic wrap to get the 2 for 1 deal, sitting right next to individual bags that were the same price. The offer was while supplies last. I don’t think one will be able to pick up two individual bags and get them 2 for 1, but I guess it wouldn’t hurt to price check it with a cashier or cs.
Mine (41501-KY) was bundled with the blue plastic as well
These go on sale at Shoprite Sunday for 5.99, and if you have an ACME near buy, grab their Fresh Summertime Fun coupon book, there is a 1$ MF coupon in it. You could score 16.lbs of charcoal for 2.99!!!
Has anyone used Saving Star before? Does it really work? Can those e-coupon be combined with paper coupons (online and from newspaper)? I haven’t done this before and not sure how it works.
I signed up and it works, it just depends on your stores on how quickly it updates. CVS posted my stuff with in 3 days. I am waiting on Shoprite, Pathmark, and ACME to update my status, and it’s been 2 weeks. I emailed customer service, they told me if after 30 days the transaction doesn’t post I can scan and email my receipts. I’m hoping I don’t have to do that, but I’m saving them just in case!
On Saving Stars website…it says that you will not see the savings on your bill it will remain the same, but what you saved will be on your online account with them…??? Not really sure how it all works. I signed up, but will never use it…just because the stores I shop at doesn’t have loyalty cards.
Just wondering, has anyone received credit for Saving Star coupons used at Kroger? I think it has been about a month since I used one and I still haven’t received credit.
Hi Toni – Kroger is taking 30 days to post their savings with us right now. (We’re working with them to get the savings posted faster). Thanks, Josh
Thanks so much for letting us know!
Thanks for posting this great deal, Collin!
