Happy Friday: FREE Chick-fil-A for a Year
Thanks for the heads up on Cow Appreciation Day! My son won a contest at our local Chick-fil-A for the best kid’s costume. He won free Chick-fil-A for a year! Here’s his picture. It was such a fun time…and you’ve got to love a free lunch! Thanks again!

Too cute!
We really enjoyed our free Chick-fil-a today! When we arrived for lunch, we were only the third family to show up in cow attire all day! I can’t believe so many people passed up a free meal!
I have 2 boys around the same age….. HOW CUTE! free chickfila for life! YUM
oops, a year. Still… YUM
Our herds had a great time too! It was also fun to see the people come in who had no idea it was going on today! I gave our trash bag costumes to 2 people as we left, sharing the chick-fil-a love!
Super cute!! Congrats 🙂
So cool!
Yeah! Congrats! We also had fun at Cow Appreciation Day. It is an annual tradition for my friends and me. Chick-Fil-A is the best!
How cool! We are going in for dinner 🙂 got the costumes all ready to go
Us too! My husband is SO embarrassed, but I told him IT’S A FREE MEAL!!! LOL
My BF feels the same way. I said suck it up buttercup, it is a nice treat that is not on our expense! I love Chk-Fil-A! =0)
We just got back and he realized it was nothing to be embarrassed about! The whole restaurant was full of people dressed up…some a lot more than we were! It was so much fun. We are definitely doing this next year!
Exactly! Same here. I said see what was the big deal?! He said well now that I see we ate that delicious meal and saved $15 it was worth it.
My friends and I went to Chick Fil A dressed up today too and had a fun time and loved our free meal! We can’t wait until next year!
Love it!! 🙂
My two kids and I dressed up in trash bag costumes like someone else said. We even got my husband to dress up minus the trash bag! He let us stick the spots, tail, and nose on him and the ears on his baseball cap! By the time we left Chickfila almost everyone in the place was dressed like a cow! Too funny!! We all had a great time!
That’s Awesome!!!!
So cute!
Definitely will keep this in mind for next year! Looks like so much fun!!
Favorite!
We went at lunch because my husband isn’t into it. My toddler and I had a blast though!
Congratulations! He’s really cute in that costume. I bet he had a really fun time dressing up in it.
Way too cute. Love the costume … and the fact that your son won the contest. He’ll remember this day forever! 🙂
Thanks for using my picture, Collin! I have to say that the only problem with my son winning all that chicken is that he’s already started to think everything in life is free. He sees me getting all the good deals and hears me tell my husband “Don’t worry, it was free!”
Cute pic! My family turned Cow appreciation day into a fun family outing! We put black spots on ourselves to get free entrees at Chick-fil-A, went to see Cars 2 with the Living Social Fandango movie tickets, and then went to DQ to use my hubby’s bogo blizzard coupon!! 🙂 So our whole evening out together cost us $8.16!!! 🙂 Thanks for all of the good deals, Collin! My hubby and I had not been out to a movie since June 2008!!
I also got to submit the movie tickets to get 100 pts for my DMR account!! 🙂
I just threw out my movie stubs when I cleaned out my purse. Ugh, I knew I was holding on to them for something but couldn’t think of it at the time and threw them out!
Our Chick Fil A lets us redeem movie stubs for sandwiches. You might wanna ask yours if they do the same deal.
We went to Chickfila for supper tonight!! My older son’s 2nd birthday is today so I took an white onesie that had been well worn and used permanent marker to make black spots on it. I also made a “sign” on the front that says: “MOO MOO TODAY I’M 2!!!” My 5 month old has a Halloween cow costume that he wore. Both my kids looked WAY too cute!! We got 2 free kids meals, and a free entree (I put paper spots on my shirt). AND the manager gave my son a free cup of ice cream for his birthday!!!
SMILE!!!! 🙂
Are all the local stores having a photo contest? Our 6 children & I participated…earlier in the week, I asked my husband IF he wanted to go with us (we would have done supper), he didn’t care to join in the fun so, we went for lunch. I loved doing something silly with my children, the savings, & we enjoyed our FREE food!
A few years ago my kids and I won “best herd” at our chick fil, we won a party for 25 which they actually let me use as a $100 catering credit. It worked out fabulous as my daughter’s b-day party was just a couple of weeks later. I ended up paying $12 for a nuggets tray and a sandwich tray – woo hoo moo
The only goal of my office on Friday was to make sure everyone had a cow costume to get a free lunch. It worked and was blast. Although we did get some looks while trying to cross the street!
