Just my 2 cents: Beware of “sugar-free” anything, especially for your kids… Anything sugar-free has artificial sweeteners which can cause more damage than a little bit of sugar. Everything in moderation, including sugar, is the way we try and live our lives…. (Look up, aspartame, saccharin, acesulfame potassium, sucralose, etc for more info.) PS – I LOVE HIP2SAVE!!
I completely agree! That’s why I stay away from diet or sugar free sodas (especially during my pregnancy). The same applies to butter substitutes. Real butter is better than all the fake stuff on the market.
I agree as well! I’m sensitive to MSG and when I started reading and realized that aspartame is similar, I began avoiding it (as well as other sugar substitutes) in our food. I wish more companies wold provide reduced sugar products that really were just less sweet (and fewer dyes would be nice as well!)
