any issue with the gift card glitch? (value of order has to be higher than the $5 Target G/C you’re getting?)
can you buy 4 and get 2 gift cards in the same transaction?

    • Francoise

      Ditto on Gretchen’s two questions!

      • Nicole

Since the gift card is generated when the quantity of items being scanned is reached it doesn’t matter that your amount OOP is below the $5. Besides, you can’t use the gift card in that transaction anyway. Break it up into 2 transactions if you want to get 4. If you do it in the same transaction you’ll only get the one gift card.

        • diane osteen

that’s incorrect. i just bought 6 in one transaction and got 3 gift cards.. in the past i’ve done multiple of the same gift card items (more than 3 generating) and have gotten them all! 🙂 not sure what the max limit is.. i’ve only gone up to i believe 5 gift card deals at a time (of the same deal).

          • Jana

Diane is correct, you can get multiple gift cards in one transaction. Haven’t heard if the glitch is affecting this though. The glitch she is referring to doesn’t affect the gift card prompt, it affects the register being able to accept manufacturer coupons if the total falls below $5.

            • nope

You WILL have to pay at least $5 for every gift card earned regardless of the coupons you give them. They just adjust down the coupon then later redeem them for the full amount!

The 10/9 SS coupons are as follows:

Save $2.00 on Curel Itch Defense or Sensitive Skin Remedy 7.5 ounce or larger( so it is not for Ultra Healing 6 ounce)

But you can use the save $1.00 on any Curel moisturizer 3.5 ounce or larger

    • diane osteen

you’re right! you have to use the $1 one which is off any Curel moisturizing lotion, the other is specific to two types only!

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sigh, there is no target near me.

  4. lxwdhr

Is it a regional deal? I didn’t see it on my Target Ads at all!

    • Chellsy

Yeah, I didn’t see it in my ad either. Is it an unadvertised deal? SE Michigan here…

      • diane osteen

it’s an unadvertised deal, you’d have to go to your store to see if they’re participating in it! 🙂

  5. Erin

My Target coupons from 9/11 were for TP 🙁

  6. Ashley57

My Target was out of the above deal. If your Target is out when you go, here is the deal I was able to do:

Curel Foot Therapy 3.5 fl oz: 4.49
Curel Hand and Cuticle Therapy: 4.49

Use 4 coupons listed above OOP: 4.98

    Get $5 gift card

So, it’s not a moneymaker, but they are still free if your Target is out of the deal above.

    • diane osteen

this deal is good through 12/16, so you could potentially hold off on the deal and still get it once the product is back in stock! 🙂

      • Ashley57

That’s true too! The Target coupon expires on 11/5 I think, so that is about three weeks to snag the deal. It may be back in stock by then.

  7. Joan

OMG!!! I am so excited. I love Curel lotion!

  8. diane osteen

just did this! 🙂 i made $9.11!! processed 6 in one transaction, which generated 3 gift cards!! I paid $5.89 out of pocket and got back $15 in gift cards! For some reason tax didn’t generate, not sure if my city is doing a tax free weekend, or the credits were enough for no tax, i have no clue! oh, and our targets have them priced at $2.99! 🙂

    • NewbieCouponer

Did you have to purchase anything else to get all the coupons work? / Was it necessary to use filler items?

  9. Allison

At my target, registers will not allow the coupons if it reduces amount of total order below value of gift cards being issued. So at my target, if you want to use the coupons, you will also have to add filler items to use overage.

    • Nancy

Yes, same at my Target. I was only able to use one $1/1 coupon that was reduced to $0.98. My cashier was nice enough to re-scan the second one three times. It didn’t work so I thanked her for trying but told her it’s fine. I had a $5 gift card from last week and only paid $0.08 for tax. I am glad for this deal =)

  10. steph

FYI This coupon has an advertisement at the bottom of the page. If you don’t want to print the entire page, just stop your printer as soon as the coupon prints.

  11. MEGAN

Whoo Hoo at our Target it was 2.99!!!

  12. Cindy

My Target only had 2 of these in stock. They did not have any in the back nor would they give me a raincheck due to the gift card offer. They usually only keep 6 on hand at my Super Target.

  13. axhilli

$2.99 at my target also and I had 6 manu coupons and I didnt have the target ones but it still was a $3 moneymaker. In addition I rolled the target gc from the scrubbing bubbles deal so I didnt have to spend any money out of pocket so I was super happy and these are a good size to carry in my purse or leave on my desk at work!

  14. Jill

If you don’t have the regional target coupon, you might also check through your target catalinas. I have a couple for $1 off any beauty purchase of $3 or more (cosmetics, skin care, haircare). I’m not sure if I’ll be able to use 2 or only 1, but either way . . . 🙂

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

my target was already out of the Ultra healing, crazy since i ran out shortly after this posted(who are you rival couponer? lol!) so i did the deal with the Hand & Cuticle Therapy $3.59 each, so i still made $1.80 after tax! 🙂

  16. bali

Yay, $2.99 at my Target and they had exactly two left on the shelf! Thanks for the headsup!

  17. Kim

Okay, well it is not free, but my husband prefers vaseline lotion, so I did:

The giant vaseline lotions are on sale for $5. Buy 2 and get a $5 gift card. The regular size vaseline lotions (but still a decent size at 13 ounces!) are buy 4 at $2.99 and get a $5 gift card. Sooo…I bought 4 giant ones at $5 each (prompts 2 gc’s) and 4 regular ones at $2.99 each (prompts 1 gc). Use 4 buy 1 large (20 plus ounces) and get a 13 ounce one free. This makes all four $2.99 vaselines free. Pay $20 and get back $15 in gift cards!! 2 from the large bottles and 1 from the regular bottles. Plus the bonus packs ARE working for the gc. My 4 large bottles had 13 ounce sizes attached to them for free (13 ounces NOT trial size, but full size bottles). End results was 12 vaseline lotions. 4 giant and 8 regular for a net of $6 and change after tax. My husband was so pleased. It’s all he uses!

    • axhilli

Wow that is great and I was thinking of a way to use those vaseline coupons so thanks for posting. You got all of that for basically the price of 1 large lotion. Free is not always the best deal if its not what your family will use in my opinion I think you did great.

  18. Christina

I did the survey but can’t find the coupon to print. What did I do wrong?

    • Ashley57

It’s on the right hand side of the screen. It is a kind of small box. HTH!

  19. TiffOnABudget

I have a general target coupon question. Last weekend I tried to use a manufacturer coupon and a target coupon and cashier said I could only use one. when the target coupon says “limit one coupon or offer per transaction” does that mean one target coupon or one coupon period? I’ve used both types together before but 2 different items were denied this trip. Help!

  20. Sarah

I got four today!! Only had 3 coupons but they were $2.99 each so still a mm for me! Hooray for free lotion!!! Thanks Collin!

  21. Chen

    Thanks for the post, Collins!!!
Btw, I just want to share my experience. The cashier didn’t let me use the mfg since I’m getting $5 gift card. I had to go home and called the corporate about this. They say there’s no such thing and they want me to go back to the store and tell the cashier it’s ok. So, I went back to the store and looked for the manager on duty. At first she was hesitate to approve it, not until I said that I had called the corporate. Then, another manager came and he approved it. This is my second bad experience with target and I had to deal with the same manager. I think she doesn’t like me because I always get all the items almost for free. Well, Thanks to you, Collins!!! 🙂

  22. MelanieC

I should have went sooner….they had the Curel for $2.99, but they were sold out, I asked a rep, and he said they were discountinued:(
