No restaurants in my area participate! Darn it!!
There’s a lot in my area, but I’m kind of scared to drive all the way out to any of them! Anyone in the Portland area like any particular restaurant or frequent them?
Thanks! Just got one for gaucho Brazilian steakhouse in Myrtle Beach! We are going for our 8 year anniversary and now we can eat for half price!
According to their website, restaurant gift certificates and restaurant.com gift cards do not expire. All of the ones I have printed in the past have never had an expiration date. So you can pick a few favorite places and a few new places you’d like to try and there is no rush to go.
I’m pretty sure all of mine had to be used within a year :-/
Oh wait – the Restaurant.com gift cards probably don’t expire…
They used to expire 1 year from the day it was purchased. I heard they changed their policy so I emailed them. Below is the response that was emailed to me. Hope this helps:
I apologize for any inconvenience. Restaurant.com changed the expiration date policy. Restaurant.com gift certificates no longer expire. If you would like to reprint your certificate(s), the new terms will be on the bottom of the certificate, stating, “This Restaurant.com Certificate Will Not Expire”
You can always view and print your certificates from your Restaurant.com account. From our homepage, click on “My Account,” which is under the phone number. Sign in with your email address and password. After you log in, you will be on the account management page. On the left side of the screen click on “Restaurant Gift Certificates” or “Restaurant Gift Certificates – Before 2009” under the red heading of “My Certificates.” You will then see your certificate(s) listed at the bottom of the page. Click on the certificate number you wish to print. This will take you to a Certificate Summary page with a box detailing your certificate. In that box is a red link that says “view and print certificate” under the reference number, which is the certificate number. A new window will pop up. Click “continue to print” in the box reminding you of the terms. You should now see the certificate, and you can print it as you would any other document. If you have any other questions or concerns, please email me so I may further assist you.
I have used Restaurant.com in the past with 100% success and I wanted to point out a freebie I noticed!! I logged onto Fandango to access the $5 movie tickets I purchased today (thank you Collin!!) and there’s a link for a free movie ticket from fandango if you participate in 1 promotional offer. Restaurant.com was one of the offers! You have to spend $20 with Restaurant.com to qualify for the free movie ticket….I’m wondering if we get to take advantage of the 80% off code too? You could eat out for a year with $20 worth of “$1 paid/$25 valued” restaurant vouchers, lol and go see 1 movie!! 🙂 haha every freebie counts!!
