I’ve been using this brand for about a year now & I absolutely love it! The lotion absorbs so easily, not thick or greasy & no fragrance. My husband is always telling me how soft my skin is & how do I do it? On Monday I used my 4 – $5 coupons to “stock up” on this lotion when I happened to see the unadvertised price. I live in Enfield, CT & I thought this must’ve just been a quirky stroke of “luck” for a change, now all the blogs are burning up w/the news. Just glad to finally score a good deal on this lotion!! good luck to all! 🙂

One other note for anyone purchasing this lotion that hasn’t used it before, it normally isn’t with the other lotions. It’s with the first aid stuff.

Thank you Kathy! Just got back from Walgreen’s and could not find it. Will go back in a little while to look there 🙂

      • Wd

Did you try the aisle where the hydrocortisone cream is? That’s where I found it.

  3. hro

    i dont see the coupon

  4. Says J

    i can’t find the coupon – ?? used 53027 zip code….

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hmmm… it’s still there for me. Maybe try using zip code 90210 and clicking on the “Personal Care” category.

Too bad this isn’t advertised in their sale paper. My store never has anything that’s on sale and if it’s register rewards bringing the price down a rain check doesn’t do me any good. Wish this Sarna lotion had been advertised so I could at least get a rain check. Every time I go in there with a carefully planned list and coupons and come out with nothing I tell myself I will never go in there again. 🙁

    • Sarah

what time and what days do you go? happens to me too, i feel like i have to live at the store to get any items on sale lol

      • cdawnt

I usually go on Tues or Thurs afternoon. I’ve also asked when the truck comes when they are out of everything and I come in the very next day and there are tubs piled up everywhere in the aisles full of products that they haven’t put out on the shelves. One time I had a clerk go through a few tubs to find something for me and every one of those tubs are a mix of everything, the products aren’t even sorted into different tubs, needless to say she couldn’t find what I was looking for, but she tried. It’s too far out of my way to go back and forth several times trying to catch something. Very frustrating, but I really want that lotion!

        • Heather

At least she tried looking for you! I went to Walgreens once for some suave products and there were none left on the shelf. I asked the clerk if there were any in the back and she said probably but it would take her too long to go look at for them and she turned around and walked away.

          • Carla

@ cdawnt – Have you tried calling the store to ask when their truck is delivered? I know that if I don’t go to Wags on Sunday morning at 8 when they open, then I better forget about it until Friday when they are unloading their truck. Really knowing when the truck comes and when the product will be put out might cut down on some of your frustration and leaving empty handed.

            GL!

            • Carla

Oops! Sorry, I guess I should have read your response better. It is frustrating leaving empty handed.

          • Sarah

LOL! I have gotten the same replies, too! I’ve noticed a difference though in the way they treat me after I started couponing. The same sales clerks that used to look for items, wouldn’t look anymore after they saw me holding coupons. Before they would tell me, “I’ll try and look in the back”. Now, they look at my basket or the coupons that I’m holding and tell me “Whatever is out on the floor is all that we have.” -___-”’

            • mday

So ask for a raincheck 🙂 that is what I do!!! I will wait to when they say oh wait Im so busy!!! I will be like fine let me know if you can’t so I can look for your Manager!!! I will ask for rainchecks and when they don’t want to give them to me, like such is the case with Walgreens.. I will say I guess IM going to call Corporate and ask them why you no longer do rain checks.. They quickly ask me to wait and then they come back with, WHAT DO YOU LORD AND BEHOLD the items from the back of the stock room.. With a naive sound to their voice on how all of a SUDDEN a TRUCK just got here and I DIDN”T KNOW that it was this particular item you were looking for.

        • Sarah

It gets pretty frustrating! CVS has been the most frustrating for me when it comes to things in stock. There’s so many couponers or maybe a few that grab a lot (like last weekend, 3 ppl cleared the skintimate at one cvs, — I was the unfortunate soul to follow them lol none for me -___-” and at another cvs I was the fortunate soul to come before one person grabbed 20+ lady speedstick deos lol it’s a hit or miss, but I go to at least 3 different locations at various times in a day at different days. I’m still weighing if this is all worth it — with gas prices and current employment status, it’s not looking so good lol Good luck though!! 🙂 hopefully, we’ll be able to get some deals too!

          • jiya

I can totally understand…I went to 2 cvs couldn’t find even 1single deal. All the shelf were wiped out)-:

            • Sarah

i feel your pain! Here’s to a better couponing week 🙂

          • mday

You know that is so sad that we get so greedy!!! that the aisles of sale are empty what is even worse is the stores know this and they refuse to stock up like they should…

On another note I usually get no more then 3 items if it is a good sale.. Realizing that next week I will score an even better deal or if not the same deal will come around.. IT isn’t as if the coupons were going out of business!!!!!

The name of this anti-itch lotion always cracks me up, in Spanish, “sarna” means “menge”!! 🙂

  10. squarejellybean

ty so much for this info my son has severe ezcema and lotions can be very expensive I was able to purchase 2 bottles at 2.99 each and I also got the cortizone cream for free 2.99 used the 3 coupon. at walgreens

    • Smellyann

email me (above comment) if you want more Qs 🙂

  11. Patty

I was able to get one bottle of the lotion. Never used it but since my husband has very dry and itchy skin thought it would be worth a try….especially for $2.99. He has a ton of different lotions, so maybe this could be the one to really help his skin. Thanks!
