Advance Auto Parts: FREE 5.1 Qts of Valvoline NextGen 5W-30 Motor Oil (After Rebate)
Wow! Here’s a great deal for all you car-smart Hip2Savers with an Advance Auto Parts store nearby! 😉 Currently, you can head on over to the Advance Auto Parts site and score a 5.1 quart jug of Valvoline NextGen 5W-30 Conventional Motor Oil completely FREE after mail-in rebate!
Here’s what you’ll need to do:
* Go here and add a 5.1 quart jug of Valvoline NextGen 5W-30 Conventional Motor Oil to your cart
* Choose FREE in-store pick up (Note – Shipping to your home is not an option).
* Pay $19.99 (plus tax). When your order is ready, head on over to your local Advance Auto Parts store to pick up your oil. Most stores offer pick up within an hour! 😀 Also, my sidekick Mary called her local Advance Auto Parts store and this same oil is priced at $22.30 in store.
* Then, submit for the $20 mail-in rebate found here (Expires 4/25!). Just search rebate offer AAP-10008 to find it quickly. (Note – I contacted the Customer Service rebate line and was told that you can submit your online invoice as your “cash register receipt” for this rebate offer).
* Your final cost will be FREE for 5.1 quarts of highly rated Valvoline NextGen Motor Oil after the mail-in rebate! Not bad!
* Go through ShopAtHome.com for an exclusive 12% cash back for Hip2Save readers (also you can go through Ebates.com for 12% cash back)!
Am I reading the wrong one it says it expires 3/28?
Are you searching for the rebate offer AAP-10008 as this rebate does not expire until 4/25/12?
I see what colin posted for expiration – great dela im in fla and need some oil!!
does any one know, can i use this for 2007 honda civic hybrid car ?
not recommended by manufacturer. But since the car wont last long anyway……..
After rebate submission it says
The American Express Reward Card??? What does this mean Collin??? I don’t have a AERC!!!! 🙁
Or is this how they refund your $20 on a AERC?? I am kind of freaking out!!! LOL!!! 😉
It says: If your rebate payment is $5.00 or greater, you will receive an American Express® Prepaid Reward Card
They’re sending you a $20 AMEX gift card. you can use it like cash. Just be sure who you give it to knows there’s only $20 on it or their machine will deny it. (just like a real credit card if you go over your limit.) It isn’t a problem if you say – there’s $20 on this.
When you do the rebate, what do you put in for a register number I don’t see one on my online printout =(
Same problem here.
I’m stuck here as well… But excited about another round of free oil!
maybe you get it in store when you check out.
Did anyone get their rebate from the last oil deal there? I don’t want to do it again if they aren’t reliable.
Not yet, it said 8-12 weeks or something. It hasnt’ been that long. Also, that one was through Quaker State the oil manuf. and this one is through Advanced Auto the store.
It says the rebate is for 5 single quarts. Has anyone submitted yet to make sure it works on the 5.1 quart container?
Mine says this Valvoline NextGen Oil (5) quarts or (1) 5.1 Quart Jug
Be careful when you buy this to check what oil you should be using. A lot of cars take synthetic oil, this kind is not synthetic.
where is the rebate form? i registered my info and got a tracking# but i dont see the rebate form with the address to send it to.
Thanks for posting – my fiance will love this:)
Ebates also has some coupon codes!!!
i used register #000 because there was none online… i hope that is okay. it doesn’t seem that there is any information to submit it in paper, and when i printed my ‘rebate form’ after filling out the info, it says ‘rebate submission summary’ on top. it just says to print this form for your records and they’ll send a confirmation email with a tracking number to your email addy. i checked my email, and it processed! this is awesome. no stamp.
Rebate has expired.
You are looking at the incorrect rebate form.
there is also a code you can use to take 20% off your total purchase-p20, i used it and my total was 19.99
So . . . was anyone else’s order cancelled this morning?
Is this a rebate that you just have to submit online or do you have to mail it in too? I can’t seem to find an address to mail it to.
I was wondering the same thing. It looks like it’s just submitted online.
Same here! No instructions or details regarding where to send the receipt/bar code/etc, and I SERIOUSLY doubt they’re going to just send $20 for entering a register# and transaction# from my receipt. I notice that their “form” has an almost click-able note stating “I have read adn agree to the terms of…” I think their site is just BROKEN. (and I’ve tried in both Opera and IE)
Yes they can do rebates that way….I submit online to Staples and Rite Aid all the time just using the info on the receipt. I submitted online for the oil, kept all my receipts and a copy of my online submission. I haven’t gotten anything back yet, but its just been four weeks.
My rebate was rejected. Said SKU did not match rebate. I bought the 5.1 quart jug as pictured in the post….anyone else have this issue??? I am very annoyed!!
Same thing here, said my rebate was rejected too, it makes me angry as I thought I was doing a good deed and donating this oil and it wouldn’t cost me anything besides the special trip 40 miles to pick it up… I’m extremely ticked off!!!
My Rebate has been reinstated and approved. It was originally rejected too, but has now been approved.
