Then just look for the free 30 day trial offer advertised in the sidebar. * Note that an eye exam may be required in order to use the certificate.
Not working
I’ve tried this before, and no one would accept the certificate, even with my yearly (paid) exam. Not wasting my time again….
I just hope its a 30 day trial because when i get it says a trial and not 30 days. So they may only give me one pair.
One pair of these would be a 30 day trial because these contacts you wear for 30 days and than throw away 🙂 . You can sleep in them and everything. They are the only contacts I will use and they are so amazing!
Let me first say that I love, love, love this sight. Use it all the time and get great deals…but as an eye doctor I hate to see this posted. I have always felt like this is irresponsible on the part of the contact lens company – in this case, Ciba.
When you get an eye exam for contacts you should always get free trials of any contacts you are fit into – how else am I going to know if the lens works for you other than letting you test it out? In order to be fit for contacts you will be required to have a complete eye exam, as well as a contact lens fitting – there are two separate fees for these services. The FDA regulates contact lenses as medical devices, so as a doctor I am not going to hand out contacts to someone without examining their eyes properly.
Also, we get trial contacts for free from contact lens companies, so you should never be paying for trials – it even says this on the packaging so that unscrupulous doctors do not try to charge their patients for trials. Your doctor, along with you and your specific needs, should be the determining factor as to which contacts you are fit into, not a “promo” from a contact lens company. There are many different types of contacts out there, all made of different plastics, and they are not all right for everyone.
In respone to the comment from Chasity above: Air Optix lenses are monthly disposable lenses, so one set of lenses is a 30 day supply
I am also an Eye doc and I agree 100%! Talk to your doctor and let them fit you in the appropriate lens for you.
