Final cost ONLY $0.50 each! Wow!
Please keep in mind that Dollar Tree product inventory does seem to vary greatly by region, so you may not find this same cereal at your local Dollar Tree. However, I did spot this cereal at my local Dollar Tree in Boise, Idaho (as shown in the pic above!).
(Thanks, Erin!)
When I click on it, it says “redeemable at walmart”
Wal-Mart also has these for $1.00 a bag so same price.
The dollar tree in my town would not accept this because it says redemable at WalMart!
The coupon states that it is only redeemable at WalMart.
Aime-the print does not state ONLY redeemable @ WM.’It states WM is a place you can opt to use the q.
It is a form of advertising-many stores do this.
I have been printing coupons from coupons.com and bricks.com and I use my husbands computer occasionally but most of the time I use my own. MY printer makes the scan bars too wide on the coupons I print and they won’t scan at the stores when I use them. It has since become a big problem with stricter coupon policies, now they won’t accept coupons if they won’t scan. Anyone have a suggestion on what I need to do to adjust my printer so the bar codes on the coupons print properly? Thanks!
Change it to Landscape once and see how it prints on a coupon that you wouldn’t use. Then change it back and try again.
You can also adjust the printer settings to auto fit instead of fixed margins or vice-versa to see if that makes any adjustment
I’ve been having problems with Dollar Tree accepting legitimate coupons that come from the Sunday paper. I’ve stopped going to them because the cashiers are not informed about their coupon policy. It’s just too PAINFUL 🙁
My dollar tree had these (Northern Illinois) but said they do not accept any type of “free” coupon, even a BOGO 🙁 I’ll have to check at WalMart.
My Dollar Tree also won’t accept them…wish I had known and not wasted my time.
I saw the big bags last night at the DT in Zebulon, NC. Be patient with the cashiers, many of them have no clue about the updated policy and once I show it to them they accept the coupons. I also only use coupons when certain ‘coupon friendly’ cashiers are working 🙂
Hasn’t reset for me yet…
I tried these last time the coupon was out, they really weren’t that great even if they were cheap. Very flat on flavor even for a shredded wheat.
Our dollar store will not accept them if they list another store. I understand the difference between “us at Walmart” and “use ONLY at walmart”. But they won’t budge so I don’t try.
They have these on sale at Hy-Vee for 99 cents 🙂
I tried to use this coupon last week at my local Dollar Tree and they would not accept it either because it stated redeemable at WM. I tried to explain to the cashier that it is a manufacturer’s coupon and not a store coupon, but she showed me an email that she received from her manager that stated they were not to accept this coupon.
My HyVee has these for $1.25. I bought the chocolate variety and we liked them.
i bought these when the coupon was active last time and used the coupon just fine. but realized after i bought it that the cereal from dollar tree is actually made by mom brands and not malt o meal.
maybe mom brands is M.O.M. (malt o meal) because wal mart website has the same bag and is called malt o meal, but mom brands website has same bag as well. hmm
Dollar Tree does not accept Buy one get one free coupons.
The Dollar Tree Policy states that they do use Buy one get one free. I looked up their policy and it states that they do. It helps if you print the policy out and bring it with you to the store. Always have the policy with you.
