We didn’t like ours… I have one from the deal with QVC, almost all of the flavors have artificial sweetener (even the non-diet ones) and have an awful taste (in our opinion, some people probably like it or are ok with it), and the few ones that I found with sugar (cola, I bought it at Walmart) are not worth it price-wise. Now.. unless someone has a good recipe for syrup…anyone?
From when I did research, I think it was worth it if you only did seltzer water.. I think… I tried mixing it with fruit juice since I like sparkling juice and a friend of mine had suggested it, but we didn’t like it either.

If you drink a lot of carbonated water, this might be for you. I bought mine super cheap last year and pretty much only use it to make sparkling water and I love it! The Sodastream syrups have an awful taste, but I splurged and bought some soda syrups from Williams Sonoma and they are awesome.
We absolutely LOVE ours!!!!! We use it all of the time. The carbonation containers do not last long, but that is because we drink a lot of soda. This is the best price I have ever seen.
I’ve wondered about these too. How much does it come out to be per 2 liter when you factor in co2 and syrups?
If you are an energy drink-aholic this is a must. At the cost of redbull this machine will save you a bundle over time.
I’m wondering too. My daughter has one and loves it. She uses her cash back from Discover Card. You can buy a $25 card for Bed Bath and Beyond for $20. She then waits for a sale or combines with 20% off card and saves money. I still haven’t gone for it, but this might get me.
The best way to save on soda is not to buy it at all! It’s so bad for you (sorry, not trying to sound like a nagging mom…_

could you use this machine to make sparkling water that’s flavored but unsweetened?
I know people use it for plain carbonated water, you could add some lemon or lime juice for a little flavor but no sugar perhaps.
Basically you carbonate water with it and then add the syrup for whatever flavor you want. You can add any flavor to the carbonated water. It only allows you to have water in the container when you carbonate it, but then you can add their syrups or whatever you want, or leave it plain. We still haven’t found a winning combination for our family….
by adding syrup before carbonation you run the risk of gunking up the safety features with sticky. you’ll get the scare of your life when the water bottle explodes.
I have been waiting for this deal for a long time. I was not willing to spend $80.00 on this deal.

I got one & like the off brand redbull! I didn’t care for the other flavors though but I got real dr Pepper syrup in a box at SAMs club& it’s good! You have to buy the spout too through SAMs club.
I just ordered one. I had $13 credit in my paypal account from Ibotta so it ended up costing me only $30! My sister has one and they use it for energy drinks. It saves them a lot of money compared to buying a red bull for $2.50 a can.
