I think that’s still a bit expensive for shoes…
TOMS is a socially responsible company that donates a pair of shoes to a child in poverty in less developed countries for each pair of shoes sold. Sometimes, it is not about getting something for as cheap as possible, but rather sticking to one’s ethical code as much as possible. I think it is nice that Colin shares deals on thigs all across the board, wih an eye on comparative value, rather than only super cheap stuff. I don’t buy TOMs, but I don’t wear leather, which means 99% of the cheap, non-canvas sneaker deals won’t work for me, but it’s cool there are some posted which aren’t the cheapest, but are the best deal I can usually find.
I’m a bargain shopper, but with shoes you usually get what you pay for… I was willing to pay $40 at a local store for a pair of TOMS because I liked them. $24 for a pair is a good deal!
Where do you find cheaper shoes because even kmart cheap character shoes are $20. If I didn’t just buy my sister school shoes i’d hop right on it, toms are great quality.

I just ordered a pair of their Canvas Womens Classic. On the website, it states $44, but once you add it to your shopping bag, price increases to $48. I called them directly and the $48 is in fact the new, correct price. They honored the $44, plus $5 discount = $39. I’m sure they will update their website soon, so if you want to take advantage of this deal, I suggest calling them quickly!
I did this too! It seemed like they were changing the prices as I was ordering!! But they did honor the lower price…@ $39 I was able to get the women’s navy canvas shipped! The best thing–I was able to get my “bigfoot” size 11–I have a hard time finding that in regular stores!!!
