Watch the prices on some of the items. They have a wicker patio conversation set for $249.00 on the website that I just paid $149.00 (70% off) in the store!!

I agree with Cheryl. I purchased the Black and Decker Power Workshop after Christmas for $17 at Target. My son enjoys playing with it but I definitely wouldn’t pay $40.

  3. Holly

I was looking at the prices online thinking “those prices are NOT black Friday”!

  4. Jennifer

The spa sonic is on sale again for 33.99 (normally $60) and the code “beautybox” will discount that by another $3. I bought one last time it was on sale and I love it so far.

I would warn anyone about getting that castle unless you are ready with the superglue

    • Theresa

Thank you for the input! I’ve been thinking about getting a doll house for my 4 year old.

      • K

I’ve only heard terrible things about that castle…

  6. Stephanie

These prices are so high. Not even black Friday type deals.

    • Chris

I agree!! My daughter’s laptop just died and I was hoping to find a good deal and even with my employee discount plus redcard savings, I can’t find a deal that I think is worthy right now. I’m really disappointed with their idea of Black Friday in July!

Threshold Windham Accent Cabinet is on sales and the code “threshold” will discount that by another $5.

Ladies, I am looking for a castle or doll house for my 3 years old. Any recomendations on brands and where to get it from? Your input will be much appreciated.

There is a Melissa and Doug castle on Amazon that is great. It’s wooden and very durable. It has a little drawbridge. It will not work for Barbies. It’s best for small Polly Pocket size dolls. We use it with the tiny Disney princesses. It goes on sale a lot. I wouldn’t pay more than $40. The quality is great.

My daughter has this one and we LOVE it. We are going on 2 years owning it. It came with a broken piece but they sent us a new one right away. No breaks since that was fixed. It came with lots of pieces so we only gave her part of them. Then at Easter we gave her some more parts. Some family members have bought her a couple extras over the two years like the car. We found a good deal around Christmas.

If you don’t mind buying used check consignment sales or shops. At the last one they had in my area, they had maybe 10 of the loving family houses (more upscale sale barely looked out of the box) and all the accessories for $30.

The kidkraft beach front mansion is amazing. I bought it last year for my for year old birthday. Incredibly durable Barbie house that comes with wooden furniture and built in storage. Sells on Walmart for 117. I often get comments from my other mom friends about it.

      • Linda

Sorry for my horrible grammar in my last post. Darn phone!

    • vs

Thank you for the recommendations, ladies. Btw, What is a good price for the loving family doll house? I will also check the kidkraft one.

Collin, you should mention their daily deals today. It’s buy one get one half off, and I ended up getting a cute green summer dress and a bra for just $20 shipped! A lot better than their so called black friday deals!

When does the July toy clearance go to 50%/70%? Thanks!

    • Lynn

Target has already begun their toy clearance. Found tons of items already at 50% off. Disney Princess LeapPad2 Explorer (incl. pad, case & stickers) marked down from $129.99 to $64.98. LeapsterGS recharger pack down to $19.98 from $39.99. And much more! I believe the 70% off doesn’t start until next Thursday. I’m so excited. I’ve been eyeing some toys for Christmas. 🙂

I picked up the TAG System today plus a TAG Cars 2 book for about $24 (incl. tax). I was so excited seeing the TAG System and book on clearance since I did the Toys R Us TAG books deal earlier this week. 🙂

They have what seems to be great deals on kids clothing. I thought about stocking up for next summer for my toddler but not sure if they are “stockable price” Is 3 dollars for shorts and shirts a good stock up price?

    • Tiffany

In my opinion it depends what it is and where it’s from. For everyday play clothes, I don’t like to pay more than $1.50 at walmart and Kmart. At target an Khols I like to stick around $2 and Children’s Place $2.50. Recently, on a different post, someone mentioned that Crazy 8s is having a really good sale.
