Home Depot: Build a FREE Desk Calender on January 4th (Register Now!)
If you have a kiddo between the ages of 5-12, you may want to plan to head on over to your local Home Depot on January 4th from 9AM-12PM. They will be offering up a FREE kids workshop in which the kiddos will get to build a fun desk calendar and take it home for FREE! Be sure to head here and register as spots will likely fill up quickly.
*All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin. One workshop kit, apron and pin per child, while supplies last.
(Thanks, Freebie Fining Mom!)
Thanks, just signed up my son. Wish they had a pic of what it will look like finished, but we always have fun doing these projects 🙂
Just signed up my son. Question. Do you have to be there at 9am or is more of an open house type thing and you have to be there between 9-12. I just can’t imagine it taking three hours to complete
Nope… and it doesn’t take that long. You just have to arrive between those hours. 🙂
Awesome. Thanks
Too bad my three year old can’t participate but maybe that’s a good thing. She’s a holy terror right now
Not sure if it is the same, but we go to the Lowe’s Build And Grow. Recommended age is like 5, I started both my kids at 2. Not like they helped much, but they loved the toys!
Erica – my three year old went and loved it and they were totally fine with him coming – I’ve even seen younger children there and, at least at our home depot, they welcome the younger children with no problem. Also, for what it’s worth, our Home Depot doesn’t require registration. You can just come anytime between 9 and noon. We just go around 9 because once they run out of materials, that’s it! 🙂 Hope this helps – your three year old may just love it! 🙂
Which is why they prefer you register so they have enough supplies. But i suggest to go early because they don’t turn people away and will run out because of the people that don’t register and show.
Erica, at our HomeDepot age doesn’t matter. My daughter started to make their projects when she was 18 months old(with my help). She is 3 now and a professional DIY-maker.My kids LOVE these workshops! You should sign up your daughter too. Otherwise she will be jealous at her brother.
These workshops are perfect Saturday morning activities! I take my 4 and 2 year old whenever I can.
cool, I just signed up. Thanks!!
