*I got these because my daughter likes to shut doors now. She doesn’t usually get her fingers stuck, but she cries when she can’t get the door back open. These probably aren’t as high quality as the more expensive ones but they work just fine.
*This is great for protecting little fragile fingers from getting slammed on doors. My son loves to exercise his power by closing doors & locking people out, but I would always worry about his little fingers getting slammed. This little product was perfect fits any regular size door & stays put. Love this product!!
*Since we have two babies in the house (22 months and 14 months – both adopted) we are often finding a child who has closed him or herself into a room and bangs on the door to be let out. Then their little hands get scraped by the opening door. Pinched fingers have not really been a concern (yet – thankfully!) and the cute animal faces make them fun to look at for the kids too. The size is great as well because they are not really noticeable unless you look at the top of the door, and storing them during nap-time is super easy. We are also glad they are easy to put up and remove, without any trace of hardware or adhesives. These have been a wonderful – and thrifty – addition to our home.

Cute idea! Wish I had this when my son was younger! 🙂
Thank you!
nice baby shower gift. thanks.
This is a great deal but if you have any pool noodles lying around I use those to keep my daughter from smashing her fingers! Just cut a 2-3 inch section off the pool noodle and cut it right down the middle so it opens like a C shape and slide it on the door and voila!
That’s what I do. Bought one at a garage sale for 10 cents many years ago, did all the doors in my house, my sisters house and our parents house! 10 cents went very far, lol
I also used a pool noodle. I baby proofed every door in the house for $1.00.
What a great idea!
Very clever, and nicer looking than our folded-face-towel-over-the-door trick.
Wow, this is such a perfect thing right now since ds is obsessed with slamming shut any open door in sight!
Thanks. Got it but delivery is 2/14-3/5…..
It just noticed it’s being shipped from Hong Kong- maybe that’s why such the long wait.
My sister got her finger smashed in a door when she was itty bitty. Because of the way it got smashed, she got a bad infection and had to have surgery to get it all out. It’s so very important to have finger safety!
Price went up… To $1.45! lol! I was just able to order some, thanks!
These are also marketed for animals as “tail savers”….I’ve used them for that and this is a great price!
I use something very similar to keep the door from getting closed to the room with the cat box. No chance the kids will forget and lock the kitty in or out.
These are great if you have cats too. If you go away for a weekend, make sure they don’t accidently shut the door to the room with the littler box!
I do not get this.do u have to take them off when u want to close the door?
Yes… They just slide on.
oh. seems like a small hassle. but if its safe then use them huh. when i watch my sister in laws kids i always worry about one of them shutting the door while the baby is staing up holding the door.
if i were to use them at my place my cats would be trying to get them off of the door. and then when they do the dogs would chew them up lol
