   no offense to you but that surely is not an “original” it is a copy and you may be happy with it for the price, but not the same as the $40 one.

   I ordered one of these from Tanga one time and was very disappointed. I wouldn’t use one of these even if it was free! Tanga did give me a refund but it was definitely not worth the hassle. Sorry to be so negative, but just wanted people to know.

   The ones at the Apple Store don’t have a back either. If you don’t like the deal, don’t buy it. No need to complain at Collin, she’s just passing along the info. Jeez. FWIW, I got the ipad mini cover you posted about last week and LOVE it. 🙂 Keep up the good work Hip2Save.

  Oh my goodness – Take a chill pill!!!! Tracy – I hardly think anyone was complaining to or about Colin. This site is to share your experiences – good or bad – with other users. Colin can’t purchase everything or know everything. That’s why we ask questions – – – – and I beg your pardon but the one I bought at the Apple Store did indeed have a back on it. It was for the iPad from 2 years ago. My kids use it all the time. That’s why I was looking for a new one. If you are hard on iPads or have a lot of small children using them, I personally recommend getting a cover with a front and a back to protect the unit. We just bought a new iPad air two months ago and I bought a true Apple cover at Best Buy for $79.00 and it is worth every penny. 🙂

   At my local Staples, there are a few apple original smart covers on clearance for 6 dollars (only in select colors). The ones for the apple mini are on clearance for 18.95. Its worth checking it out. I was just there a few days ago to take advantage of the paper deal 🙂

   oh good grief. this is same one that retails at Apple, Target and a bunch of other places for $39+ . It is called the Smart COVER. The one with a back is called the Smart CASE. I was just trying to point out you are comparing apples to oranges. sheesh.

    Just FYI , there are two different styles of Apple Smart Covers, one is this one Collin has posted, it’s just the front and stays on by magnet. The other one has a back and it’s a smart CASE. I have both. They help protect the screen. That’s it.
