Not related but does anyone know what % off Halloween candy is walmart at? What about target? When will candy hit 70%??
Hi sara, candy was still at 30 at my target in Colorado. Other Halloween items were at 70.
My Walmart in KY candy was already 50%
at cvs, all halloween candies and stuff are 75% off already. got a bunch
Sorry for a stupid question. Do they take extrabucks/ +up reward/ register rewards… as coupons or discounts? If I use these to ‘pay’, the amount will not count toward the total right? However, gift cards should be fine, right? I actually did the laundry rebate but was deemed unqualified… This is the only reason I can think of. Thanks for any help!
An, I get these rebates granted all the time. It specifically says $50 WORTH of products. So what I do is buy the $50 “worth” of products, then once my manufacturer coupons, extra bucks and store coupons are factored in- I basically MAKE money with these rebates. Plus, CVS accepts EXPIRED store coupons so you can score some great deals!
For the laundry rebate, I must say I bought more than $40 after manufacturer coupon ($60 before manufacturer coupon…). The requirement was $30. Maybe I just had a bad luck. On their form, they do say after ANY coupon or discount. Maybe my form just met someone who really ‘followed’ the ‘rules’… Thanks for your reply anyway! 🙂
I have had a rebate denied from rite aid because of the way it shows the up reward as a coupon on the receipt.
Thanks for the information. I used a lot of +up rewards from rite aid and Extrabucks from cvs so it should be the reason. So sad! I could just use these rewards for other purchases! They are just money! 🙁
Hey An same thing happened to me on laundry rebate and I clearly met all the requirements after coupons and was also denied. I called the 1800 number and they said they will take another look as they may have made a mistake. So I would try giving them a call as well.

I was also denied the last rebate because I used coupons to buy the Tide at CVS. They returned it to me saying I did not meet the requirement since I used coupons. Never had that happen before.
they told me I didnt meet the requirement even though I paid over $30 and I didnt pay with any type of reward, I think they got too many rebates submissions and thats why they denied some if them with this bogus excuse. Im not even gonna bother with PG anymore, pretty shady.
When did you receive your notice that you were denied? I also did the rebate but haven’t received anything approval or denial!
Bea, I got my denial yesterday. I called them this morning (1-855-332-9981). I bought mine at Target & got a $10 gift card (a Target promotion) and I used a $2 coupon. The rep (Michelle) was very nice on the phone and said she will send it for more research. She said if the $10 gift card was not taken off the total at the time of purchase, she THINKS it should not affect the P & G rebate.

I did the leap frog reader offer from then a couple months ago and got it just fine after coupons. I even put in the email saying I used coupons. It was PG sponsored and I didn’t see anything saying it had to be after coupons, but it probably did. I would try anyway. What’s the worst that could happen? They’d just deny you.
I still haven’t gotten my rebate for donating my hair from pantene? I called and they said it was shipped 10/16 but nothing yet!

At cvs this week they wouldn’t let me use a manufacturer and store coupon together on the candy. Found that strange. On a better note I had received a coupon for dog treats or cat treats up to a $19.99 value from Purina in the mail. I had a problem with their contest recently and was pleasantly shocked at the coupon value I received. Thought it would be $3.

This is my first attempt at doing the PG and new to couponing. Will they take into consideration any cvs rewards earned? Also, I did a purchase at Walgreens that has other items that I used a coupon on. Are they going to take those coupons into consideration as well?
Hi Tracy- I had these same questions so I called the 1-800 number. The customer service rep said that if a CVS reward is earned on the transaction, they do not discount it from the total. But if you use a ECB/reward on the purchase, then that’s a “discount”. Had I known this before, I would’ve saved my ECB for a different purchase! Hope this helps.

I have a bottle of cover-up that doesn’t have the long UPC number just a short 7 digit how do I write that on the form?
Submitted my receipts and UPCs within alotted time frame, made well over the required purchase amount and made submission well before the deadline. I STILL have not received my rebate card
