Biorepublic recently posted an offensive meme about those with mental illness on Instagram. They’ve since taken it down and issued a less than stellar apology. This promo is likely to try and boost sales again. I suffer from debilitating anxiety and won’t support a company that makes fun of mental health. (Many others are boycotting the company, too.)

Bethany, I too have sever anxiety and I get so angry at how casually mental illness is used as a joke on TV and in movies & advertising. It is a very serious issue which is difficult enough to deal with let alone stuff like that giving people the go ahead to make fun of it. I am having issues finding my code but I think now in light of hearing this I will just forget about it.

Sadly it didnt work for me. They had to charge me $5 for shipping. You get free shipping for $5 up. The discount took away 4.99 which is not enough. 🙁
