Are you interested in earning an Amazon.com gift card? Well, besides Swagbucks, I may have a way you can do just that!

Viewpoints helps consumers make shopping decisions with the help of reviews from people like you and me. Thru February 11th, Viewpoints is offering up a $10 Amazon.com gift card to the first 10,000 people to write 10 products reviews! What a great way to share your opinion and get rewarded at the same time!

Want to get started?
Go on over to Viewpoints and register
(or login if you are already a member). Click on the “Write a Review” tab. You can then search for a product you’d like to write a review on. You can also go here and scroll through the huge list of categories available.

Once you’ve chosen what product to review, start writing up your review. Keep in mind, to qualify for the Amazon.com gift card, your review needs to be at least 900 characters. Also, make sure to write all 10 reviews by February 11th. However, this offer is only available to the first 10,000, so I would recommend writing your reviews as soon as possible.

If you are one of the first 10,000, a $10 gift card will be emailed to you within 30 days of close of this promotional offer. You can check out all the details here.

for some reason it is not letting me log in under my screen name but I can get into it under my google acct. Does this still count toward the 10 gift card

Collin thank you so much for hooking me and my fam up with all these fabulously wonderful deals…your the best.. thank you thank you thank youuuuu!!!

  3. Kristi

Make sure you read the fine print as your reviews have to fall into certain categories. I did this years ago & never received my gift card. Hopefully it is better now.

I don’t think it’s worth it to spend your time on it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree – unless you are someone who is good at writing. THen I would suggest to become a secret shopper!! My sister does that and it pays well for her. HEre is how it works:

You get sent a “job” – you would need to accept pretty much all jobs sent your way – otherwise they remove you from their services as they do not have time to reroute “jobs” all the time.
Let’s say they want to review a resteraunt. Let’s pick – olive garden.
You will need to go eat there according to their needs – sometimes it says you and another person with-in a certain time frame – let’s say between Thursday and SUnday night by two weeks from now.
You go – eat and pay your tip. You then come home and submit your review answering all their questions.
Then they reimburse you the cost of the dinner and the tip plus a service fee.
YOu GET A FREE MEAL plus you get paid a little extra.

My sister went to the cheesecake factory as a “job” once – she got a free meal for herself and hubby and they paid her an extra $25 for her time!! WOW

She even gets free oils changes, shopping trips for clothes and more!!! She gets a check in the mail every 30 days after her review is sent in!!

I would do this – but writing reviews all the time is not my thing. But, if it is yours- it is well worth it!

The thing I do not like about this amazon one – is it should open it up to the 10,000 and have you register and if you are not registered within the 10,000 range – you don’t have to waste your time. THey should compinsate everyone, if you ask me.

I read this and thought you said “900 words.” !!!! I guess that’s an OK deal, I can babble plenty… 🙂 I actually think the time factor is not too bad….we’ll see!

  6. Meghan

I have written reviews for viewpoints and received gift cards. Make sure to write reviews in the specific topics! The time involved is up to you. A $10 gift card versus a month (maybe more) searching on Swagbucks sounds good to me!

  7. Mo Keaton

I lost track of how many reviews I have done, and can’t seem to find anywhere where it says all the reviews I have done. Can anyone help me find out where to look? Thanks 🙂

    • Meghan

On the home page you will see “My Home” tab. Once you click on it, it will take you to your page, which has links to all that you have done on viewpoints.

  8. MamaBear

this seems interesting, but what if i do the 10 reviews only to find out that im not one of the first 10,000? that would be a total waste of time.

    • Mo Keaton

It seems that if you do them all at once, you should be a shoo-in for the gift card. I just finished my reviews, in about 2 hours, but it’s sat…so with daddy watching the kids, it’s easier. The promotion just started on the 28th, so hopefully if you get them done in one day it will work out. I hope I made it in time to get one. 🙂

  9. bfam

I just completed 10 reviews and it took a LONG TIME!!

  10. LCM

Be sure and read the rules to that you don’t waste your time doing reviews that don’t count. They don’t allow things like toys and autos to qualify for the gift card.

  11. Joely

I just finished writing all the reviews and it took me about an hour! Not too bad for a $10 amazon gift card, considering it takes A LOT longer with swag bucks and other sites! Thank you, Collin!

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It didn’t take me long to do the reviews either – about 2 hours, would have been faster if I wasn’t watching a movie and taking to my husband at the same time. 900 characters usually came about pretty quick. I found that breaking up contractions helped (using “do not” instead of “don’t”). Does anyone know how you get the gift card? Are you automatically entered after writing 10 reviews, and do they just email it to you?

  13. Denise

Holy cow. Should have read the rules. Spent about an hour doing 5 reviews on dog stuff only to find out they don’t qualify! Sheesh. Thanks for the heads up about this Collin. I just need to read further myself!

  14. Jane

i just finished and it really did take a long time. do they send us a code via email if we were one of the 10,000 people?

  15. Daniella

Thanks! I just finished my reviews. I did two extra b/c two of them were a baby food product and I wasn’t sure if they would count as being in the baby category or the food category (which doesn’t qualify). So I did 12 reviews. I hope they count and I’m one of the first 10,000. I wish there was a way to know before doing all the work. I hate that we have to wait 30 days to find out if we get our card. All in all, still a great deal if I get it!

  16. Sandi

Phew – Just finished my 10 reviews. Didn’t see any mention of the Amazon gift card on the site so I hope the deal isn’t dead. I hope I get a card! Thanks for the info.

    • What?

if you click on the “my home” tab where you can view your stats, over on the right side it talks about the gift card.

  17. Sandi

ah – now I see it on the site along with all the rules. Well, mine were all in Home & Garden and more than 900 characters so hopefully I’m in the first 10,000!!

  18. Adrienne

I just finished my 10 reviews. Phew! That took awhile…I hope I get the $10 GC! 😀 I’ve done this once before for a $5 Target GC, and actually received it…so it CAN work! 😀

  19. Tina in Virginia

Sorry, y’all, but I don’t see where the rules for being able to get the $10 giftcard are posted!! Can someone be more specific? Thanks…!

    • Jean in Calif

      Hi Tina,
I am signed up already with viewpoints and so after I signed in I clicked on the my home tab on the top right hand side and it took me to another page and there on the right side of the page is where it tells about the amazon gift card and if you click on the picture it will take you to the rules page.
      Hope this helps

      • Tina in Virginia

Hi Jean, I’m on the My Home page, but I don’t see where it says anything about the Amazon card. What do I need to click on?? (Thanks.)

        • Jean in Calif

          Hi Tina,
I just tried it again and all I did was log in and hit the my home button and it takes you to the page that shows how many reviews you have written and there on the right side of the page it says write 10 reviews and get 10.00 amazon card.
          Hope this helps

  20. Jean in Calif

I have done this before and gotten other gift cards so it does work but it took me about 2 hours to write all 10 reviews. Other times when I wrote reviews I did them over a two day period but since this is only for the first 10,000 I wanted to made sure I got in.
    I hope I did.

  21. Melissa

Just finished mine!! 🙂 I may do one or two more just in case- I did all baby-related things. I hope they count. Thanks for the link!

  22. Mandy

I just finished reading all of the “Official Rules” and the last rule says it’s only good for residents of Illinois!! Luckily, I am, but I didn’t read it until after I was done with my reviews!

  23. What?

Oh wow, it does say only in IL between IL residents!

  24. Melissa

it says you can legally reside in the 50 US states…

  25. Sarah

It’s easy to tell if your review qualfies. 🙂 After you submit, just look in the green box RIGHT above the review. It will tell you it does or that you need to fix it so it qualifies.

  26. Samantha

I just did my 10 reviews in about 45 minutes; I’m wordy! LOL I forgot to check for the green box as Sarah mentioned, but I did all of my reviews in the categories listed, so hopefully I am one of the first 10,000 to do so!

  27. Jamie

Well wasted the first day which was the 30th on writing my reviews in he wrong categories so took a break and actually finished about an hour ago so myabe there is a slight chance I made it I feel that people like us that use sites like Collin are few and far between so ther are 35 people how cared enough to write on here about this and I just don’t see the egular person perusing the reviews is going to jump on writing 10 reviews all 900 characters long and they had to restart new reviews on the 28th I feel good about my chances we will se and hopefully we all get one fingers crossed I could really use it!

  28. tara

I don’t know if anyone is going to check this post anymore, but did anyone actually receive their gift cards??? I completed the reviews like 2 days after it was posted, so I don’t see any way that I wasn’t one of the first 10,000

  29. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Tara-

I’m in the same boat- never received anything but worked too hard just to let this one go! I will email the site, I guess- not hopeful that we’ll ever see our gift cards, though.
