Great deal Amanda!
Doesnt Dollar Tree still have a 2-coupon restriction for coupons printed at home?
It’s a limit of 2 regardless if they’re printed or from inserts. Hth.
My dollar tree will take only two printed but, all the inserts as long as its in stock and your buying the correct item.
My dollar tree policy states limit 4 like coupons. I’m in VA
I already bought some soup. You can use unlimited number of coupons total but only 4 of a kind per visit.
There is also a $0.75 rebate at saving star can you combine that with us thank you in advance
Does savingstar work at Dollar Tree?
I don’t think it’s available at dollar tree though. Only approved retailers….
Got the Go soup and organic soup! Also, there’s some of the Campbell’s sauces that I’ve recently seen you can get for free. Thanks! 😀 My husband loves soup and so this is a great deal!
You’re welcome!
Have yet to see this soup, hopefully I find it. Looks delicious! I will buy it for a dollar 🙂
😀
Using coupons at Dollar Tree seriously stresses me out. They do a fine job of making me out to be a criminal as they read and re-read my coupons while the line backs up! Honestly, it feels like the coupon value must get deducted out of the cashiers’ pay check and that’s why they don’t want to accept them. The store gets reimbursed so I don’t understand why each and every coupon handed to them is treated as a personal offense. Like, I might as well load my cart up and push it out the door – at least then I’d be a real thief! The last time I was there the lady told me they’ll only accept one coupon per day from me. Ugh. The struggle between hating that feeling but yet still wanting free soup is REAL lol 😉
I totally agree with you! At my store if it’s not pictured on the coupon, you can’t use it. And they are so afraid of coupons, it’s almost comical. I gave up.
I know that feeling. Once a 2/2 coupon, they told me they could only take off 1.00 even though I was buying the two items. I got that from both my local stores. When I used the Lysol coupon, I got a couple times it has to be the canister. Another time they just scanned it, but it wasn’t at all the same location/Dollar Tree.
Agree! My one experience using coupons there was terrible. I haven’t tried since.
The one by my house is great on knowing the coupon policy and since I’m in there all the time they don’t give me a problem. However there is a larger one I go to every now and then and the cashier will call the manager over for every coupon transaction and she’ll hawk eye it over and let you know if you can use it. I hate going to that one. Honestly their system will do the bad beep if the item doesn’t match to the coupon so I don’t know why some stores give such a hard time.
Totally agree. I have never had a good experience with a coupon at Dollar Tree. They always insist on making it personal, like the money is coming out of their own pockets. Every now and then they have a 10% off 10 items and even that is difficult for them to give out….good thing the instructions are usually on the coupon–or they wouldn’t be able to figure that out either! I thought is was just my store but apparently after reading the comments I’m not the only one!!!
I actually work at dollar tree as a cashier! They have a strict coupon policy and we are expected to VERY carefully make sure every thing on the coupon matches with the item being purchased. Not too long ago, we had to do each one manually. Now, we can scan them so it’s much easier. But even so, the managers make it seem like we can get in trouble or written up for taking a coupon that doesn’t match. (so that might be why some cashiers don’t like it and take a while to do the coupons) I use coupons all the time so I don’t really mind if customers bring in coupons 🙂 as long as they are not rude about it when one doesn’t go through and try to tell me how they are right. I just bring up the manager to deal with it at that point. lol
The chicken noodle isn’t great tasting. We are going to return the ones we have for the Tomato Basil Bisque. It was sooo good! And I don’t even eat tomato soup!! We got all the flavors, just haven’t tried them yet. We found them at SELECT Walmart and Targets and then each store only carries some flavors. Use the store locator on their website!!
I agree with you more Danii on the Chicken Noodle soup – it tastes horrible! I made some for my 11 year old and he said it tasted bad – I didn’t believe him so I tasted it. Needless to say, we pour it down the sink because it really has a funky flavor. Good to know about the tomato Basil though, I’ll have to pick some up.
Glad to hear you like the Tomato Basil! Thanks for sharing!
I just left the dollar store and I did see those soups but didn’t buy any because I didn’t have the coupon and we didn’t need it!
I personally do not care for canned soups but I usually use my allowed 2 coupons to get a free soup for our food pantry at church for needing families.
Great idea!
