You can click on another store and load the soda if you’d rather. It doesn’t matter which store your card is registered with. In theory, even though I don’t have a Smith’s within a few hundred miles, I could still click on Smith’s, load the mt. dew, and go to my local Foodsco and redeem it with no problem. (I probably won’t though, because I don’t like those things.) HTH
Doing it that way, doesn’t guarantee it will come off automatically at checkout.
