Here are positive comments about this backpack…
I bought this backpack for my daughter when she started 1st grade. She is now about to complete 2nd grade and this backpack is still in good shape. She has gotten 2 years of use out of it so I’d say we got our money’s worth. This is a nice backpack that has held up very well. I’d recommend this product.
My son has been using this backpack for about 5 months now and it has held up much better than any backpack we’ve owned. We will be purchasing more when our younger two start school. A backpack that can hold up to more than a year of school is a great backpack. Most seem to barely make it a year. This one is worth every penny.
Remember, Lands’ End has an awesome guarantee on ALL of their products! —> It reads: “If you’re not satisfied with any item, simply return it to us at any time for an exchange or refund of its purchase price.” We mean every word of it. Whatever. Whenever. Always. But to make sure this is perfectly clear, we’ve decided to simplify it further: Guaranteed. Period.
Okay, parents of older kids: which size lands end back pack for middle schoolers? High schoolers?
I have the same question. My son is going into Middle school and I know they have a lot to carry so I’m wondering if medium would be too small.
Was hoping for some replies to go by.
Love, Love, Love Lands End backpacks. Have used them for years along with the lunch boxes. Just an FYI we have been able to wash them in the washing machine on gentle cycle, then air dry and they look great. We won’t buy an other kind of backpack.
Happy to hear how well they hold up! Thanks for such great feedback Kelly!
I have bought these backpacks for my kids over the years and we love them! Good Quality and cute!
Awesome! Thanks for the review! Good to know!
F.Y.I Pottery Barn Kids have some of their backpacks and lunch bags on sale with free shipping. A little pricey but I bought my daughter’s bag there last year when hip2save posted about them and I loved them!
Oh cool! Thanks for sharing!
I have been wanting to purchase their waterguard door mats and they are so expensive at regular price. This is great!
Is the waterguard door mat for inside your home or your outside entryway?
I can’t get over the $8 shipping.
Trying to justify it but….what could be worth paying $8 shipping? Too bad they don’t offer store pick up.
If you have a Sear’s nearby you can order it through their Land End computer with free shipping.
I bought a LE bag pack last year for my daughter and it’s been great! Barely looks worn. We had an LL Bean bag, but she didn’t like how there was no side pockets for water bottles.
Thank you!!! That’s the kind of opportunity that makes sense. Appreciate it!
Lands End is AMAZING! Everything we have bought from them has been outgrown by ALL 3 CHILDREN before it was outworn, with the exception of one coat. A zipper broke and we returned it 3 years later (I bought it with the expectation of being able to pass down). We have 3 back packs, which have lasted my lils 4 years! Again, they have outgrown them. Time to replace with something bigger for middle school.
How cool! Thanks for sharing Kate! Glad to hear how well their items have held up!
Awesome deal, the shipping shocked me but I went for it. Bought a $14 item, personalized it, and I paid approximately $23 with the 1/2 off. Scary!
For those of you that have them….is this a good price? Or will they offer a better deal before school starts? The past two years we’ve done character backpacks that have barely held together until the end of school so I want to get better quality for next year.
Last year they offered a one day 50%off and free shipping code and free monograming code that was given out on I think GMA.
Colin posted it and I snagged 2 for a really great deal.
It was I think in late July shortly before school started.
These are the best quality backpacks out there and well worth the price.
Looks like the deal is dead, but just wanted to chime in that these are great backpacks. I got 2 for my boys at the beginning of the school year & they’ve held up beautifully despite being abused daily!
Really the best thing to do is buy some things to get to $50 so you can get free shipping.
Check out their sale section they have some great deals
Didn’t get it….hoping for a better deal w/ free shipping. I did see pottery barn kids has backpacks marked down plus free shipping today, but not sure of their quality or guarantee.
This deal is back up today Colin….did an order at a sears lands end store to avoid shipping. Ready for the upcoming school year!
