Chipotle

Got a little Chipotle fan?

Just a reminder that every Sunday in September, kid’s can eat FREE whenever you buy a burrito, bowl, an order of tacos or a salad – NO coupon needed! The free kid’s meal comes with a Dragons Love Tacos activity sheet and includes fruit or kid’s chips AND an organic apple or milk drink.

These kid’s meals are priced at $3.75-$4.75 at my local restaurant, so this is a nice discount! Please note that this offer is only for kids 12 and under and not valid for catering orders.

Is it good for take out?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hmm, I do not see that listed as an exclusion in the details of the offer, but you could always ask your store to be sure how they honor the offer.

Not a big fan of kids meal @ Chipotle…May be the location where we go to doesn’t offer it in the right way…I guess. We normally get an adult meal and split between our kids πŸ™‚ Much tastier πŸ™‚

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the honest feedback May!

Was so stoked about the new opening near me. Then 1st time they didn’t scan my barcode correctly, had to get it adjusted through Corp. 2nd time they didn’t put the steak in my steak bowl, last time they forgot my pita bread. Maybe they’re not good with orders that compiles of 1more than 1,but if I’m not getting my complete orders when I’m dropping $30+ each time, then I’m going to give my money elsewhere. Too bad, I use to love Chipotle πŸ™

      Chipotle has pita bread?

      • Amy

        That was what I thought?!?!?!

    • Melloddie

Btw barcode scan not really bad, no bread- still not too bad but no steak in a steak bowl? I’m expecting too much? So if you buy a pair of sneakers and they gave you just laces, you’d be cool with that and would be considered entitled if you complained? Pls…

My kids love the kids meals at Chipotle! It fills them up, and they can get so many choices. We’ll be going there on Sundays.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sweet! Glad to hear they enjoy them!

Personally I avoid Chipotle because they spread propaganda and lies in order to market their product, but to each their own.

    • Jennifer

There’s no point in spreading your own propaganda, especially without backing it up.

My in-laws are dairy farmers and they would completely agree with you. Their advertising implies that cows that are kept inside during the winter are being mistreated. This is fine for cows in California, but a majority of our dairy comes from the Midwest, where it would be irresponsible to leave the cows out during the winter. I’ve seen for myself the cows standing by the gate looking longingly at their warm sand beds inside! And not using antibiotics is not something to brag about in my opinion (another advertising point for them). It’s letting them suffer. If a single drop of antibiotics is detected in a farmers bulk tank, it is all dumped. No milk supplier will even put it in their tank truck. Ok, off my soapbox! I wish they would drop some of these tactics… It’s one of the few allergy friendly places near us.

I have 2 kids its mean I have to purchase 1adult meal and 2 kids meal is free or I have to purchase 2 adult meal?

    • bremoeller

      I was wondering that too.

    • Stephanie

You get one free kid’s meal per purchased adult meal. Hth.

  7. Rachel

We went last Sunday for our sons first birthday. They were so rude and barely let us get the B1G1 margaritas. They said the free child’s meal wasn’t a thing. This was a newer location and very disappointing. I’ve got to contact corporate about it.

    • Pharmchick

I believe the kids free Sunday’s starts in sept so from this coming Sunday, not last.

      • Rachel

Do you think they just don’t know about it yet? That’s only one week early. I don’t think that gives them a right to be rude about it though. Corporate responded to me. Their response was really great and sounds promising.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sorry to hear about your experience Rachel! That does sound frustrating. Be sure to ask them again, when the offer begins on Sundays in September. Hopefully they will be aware of the promo by then πŸ™‚

I think the kids meals are great! Work for our soy allergy and much healthier/more filling/better value than Panera or other similar types of “fast food”. Thanks for posting! We will take advantage of this!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome! You’re very welcome!

  9. Crystal

Yea! Super cool! We eat really clean so it’s hard to find a place to eat out that doesn’t make my family sick. But we can all eat a Chipotle safely.

  10. Julie

Woooohooooo!!!! I know where my family will be eating lunch on Sunday’s in September πŸ˜„
