   Thanks for the heads up. I went to my local store but the Blue color one rang up for 200 and they couldn’t find the red one for 150 :/ Bummer as was hoping to get one for my mom for Xmas. Does anyone have the 4.5 quart? Is it worth it or should I just be on the lookout for a 5 quart one?

   this one only has 350 watts. I bought it on “Target Run Day” for about $178 and returned it (unopened). I’d rather have more oomph even if I have ot spend more

  I’ve been using a Classic for over 10 years now, it’s only 275 watts – but has been amazing! The Artisan model is only 325 watts – so 350 watts isn’t bad at all.

   I got one in red at 209.95 3 weeks ago, then my friend show this to me. I went to target returned mine then got a new one on the shelves which is still priced as 209.95 but when they scanned it, it was 149.99$. Got 65$ back.,,

   I never paid attention to sales on kitchenaid mixers. Is this a good price for this model? Is 300 watt enough to knead dough for bread?
