.50 cents per roll is a little high, Isn’t it????
it depends on how you look at it. what a lot of brands call their “big” rolls or “double” rolls have maybe 280-300 sheets per roll. these have 1,000 sheets per roll (but these are 1-ply). at Costco, we get 470 sheets per roll, and that’s just under 50 cents per roll, and 2-ply, and theirs is wider than most so the squares are bigger.
some of the deals on Walgreens brands and other similar ones are closer to 20 cents per roll, but that’s sometimes only got 165 sheets per roll, and the rolls are quite narrow.
the only way to really know if it is a value is to look at the total square footage you are getting, OR to find the kind you like best and then just watch for deals on that particular one and know what is the best value for the one you buy regularly.
For Scott 1000 rolls I find $.50 per roll is a good, not great deal.

In store price was $11.99 but I discovered Staples will price match their online price. Mystery coupon was $5 so I got two packages, 40 rolls, for about $15, .375 cents a roll!!
