   Awesome deal I needed a second convertible seat as I will soon have a new born and want to have for my toddler to have in both our cars. Any feedback or suggestions if this or other recommendations for toddler car seats?

  The downfall of this car seat is that you have to rethread the straps as your child gets bigger. Some of the more expensive britax or the chicco nextfit do not need to be rethreaded. Albee baby is a great site for car seats. You can usually find a discount code online and they ship free and quick.

   Perfect! I’ve been waiting for a deal on a convertible seat for my youngest. I’ve never really paid much attention to Britax seats but this will be perfect as a second seat for us.

   We have used this car seat for two years now and LOVE it! It doesn’t come with all the “bells and whistles” that some other Britax models have but it’s super easy to install, very solid, and very easy to get your child in and out of the seat, both forward and rear facing. The re-thread thing is no big deal for me, I’ve only had to adjust the straps twice in two years and it wasn’t hard at all. You won’t be disappointed!

   This is a really good deal. Not to be a downer. But I think it the bottom recommendations/information should be changed to 2+ years rather than 1+year (as per the AAP recommendations). Thanks Hip Team.

  Convertible seats don’t have bases. You have to remove the entire seat to relocate it.
