I “get” that this company owes me absolutely nothing, but can someone please explain something to me? Why would a company, knowing that they are going to get slammed with huge numbers of people trying to access their website, not buy additional bandwidth? They would only need it for a brief time and wouldn’t incur the “wrath” of all those people who keep trying and trying to access their site. We see this so many times.
Please don’t troll me. I am asking a legitimate question here. And, again, I know they owe me nothing.
I totally get what you’re saying. This happens with a lot of companies. And although I understand that they “don’t anticipate” such large interest but why shouldn’t they? Wouldn’t it be better to over-prepare than to be overwhelmed??
It’s unforturnate that it only make the company look bad. I’m unsually done with a company after all the chaos. If they offer something and you go through the process for nothing I get the frustration.
Or maybe it’s not as simple as just buying additional bandwidth. But people don’t want to accept that sometimes, websites just crash and you get error messages.
The offer was intended for a small group of consumers who saw a specific video. Unfortunately and Fortunately, someone posted the FREE offer to everyone. We did honor those who signed up in excess of our initial 10,000. We’re so sorry that there were site issues. But the offer was not intended for the general public. We are estatic that so many wanted to sign up and we honored those that did. We will have more giveaways in the future.

I buy their chicken sandwiches at Costco, and they are excellent! I’d rather have one of these out of the microwave than a Chick-fil-A sandwich. Couldn’t get the page to load though 🙂
