I recently found a great deal on mouth guards at Dollar Tree. I grind my teeth at night and wear mouth guards that typically cost $30 from Wal-Mart. They last about 6 months before I have to replace them. Dollar Tree has Plackers mouth guards. Although it says they are “1 day disposable”, I have worn it every night for a month and it still looks new. The grade of material feels the same as the more expensive ones. Even if you chose to replace it monthly, it would be cheaper. It is just as comfortable and not bulky as the previous one I wore.

The DenTek Temperin Max that is shown in the picture is a great deal and very hard to find at Dollar Trees. They are constantly sold out. It’s great stuff, works wonders until you can get to a dentist. I am ashamed to say I once used it for months with no problems when I was in the military and avoiding the dentist. When I finally saw the dentist he said the Temperin did a great job at preserving my tooth and preventing further decay.
Just curious, how did it help preserve your tooth and prevent further decay? That’s amazing.
With my luck, I’d probably inhale it and have to get it fished out of my lung :{
FYI: Those only work for people who grind just the back teeth. If your front teeth are involved at all, these will do nothing. So if you chomp in your sleep get a full mouth piece.
I like these for when I’m stressed and grind. Because full mouth pieces make me gag or I spit out in my sleep. These didn’t bother me.
True!! I grind my teeth, and liked these because they aren’t so bulky in your mouth. After awhile I began to notice my front teeth felt different on the edges. 😳 In my sleep I was able finagle a way to grind my front teeth while using these
